When you work for someone else they are the boss! You do what your told......BUT...... He is not her boss anymore and it is time for her to tell her side!

No doubt in my mind she just did what she was told to do by her boss, which would have beeen then Mayor Barry. I've heard pretty straight that she was told not to pay the taxes aand use the money to meet payroll.

Again I say, it is time for her to tell her side.

She didn't work for Barry. She worked for the citizens of this town. They are her boss. They paid her salary with the very tax money she was sworn to protect.

Doesn't make any difference what she was told. She was the finance director and was there before Harrison showed up. My concern is, why she would be protecting Harrison for those years.

You can bet their is a a reason. She knows she is guilty of a crime. Otherwise, she would just come out and tell what happened to the money. Its pretty simple to figure out. Hope she likes jail.

I remember an article in the paper about the software that was being used. Maybe they were getting nervous at that point? If the software was causing a problem, that was the time to do something about it. I have a feeling that mentioning the software was used as a smokescreen in an attempt to cover up what was going on. The council and the mayor should have taken action at that point and investigated it further. It was definitely a red flag in my opinion.

Maybe they were too dumb to do a software update. Or maybe they were too greedy to buy new sofware program that was needed. I personally think it was a little of both. Dumb and Greedy

was...."didn't nobody steal that money"...seriously, that is the only statement she has made. So obviously if that is true, if she said that, then she must know exactly what did happen to th money. So why don't we hear from her as to where the money went. Misappropriation of tax`money is a felony. Thats why she is not talking.

I believe her. She is the dumb one! barry is the greedy one!

Griggs said "Didn't nobody steel that money"....but she didn't finish her sentence that should have included,
"they just borrowed it until they could get the good people of Blytheville to pay it back".
I don't think the lady is smart enough to do her job.
I remember being ask to go to city hall and show the former mayor how to get grants for Blytheville. I had to ask myself if I wanted to become a thief for him and I declined. I'm not dishonest and won't get involved in misappropriations of funds.

She might have a family to protect. Faye has been there for many years and nothing like this has ever happened on her time until Barry got in office. I think she will talk when the time is right.

She is too old to have family to protect.

She has been there a long time. Too long. Thought she could get away with it.

Screwed over every person in this town, and now we are supposed to feel sorry? Sweet little old lady?I don't think so. Co-conspirator is more like it.

senile old bag always just did what she was told to do. She got pay raises for complying. She thought she was getting raises and was too dumb to realize they were payoffs and not raises.
