How do parents living in the Blytheville school district get their children into Armorel schools? I know a few people who are doing this. In their minds it's to keep their kids out of a colored bad school system. Think of it this way your teaching your own children to lie about where they really live.So your effort to keep your child away from the so called "bad kids" are in vain. You are creating children that lie to get what they want. Why does Armorel do nothing to stop this? Stop being fake and put a stop to this!!!!

A lot of kids go to Manila for the same reason. I would put my childs safety above all else. Even if I had to lie to protect them. Blytheville schools are no longer fit to send children to. No one wants their kid to grow up to be a crack head or drug dealer.

and you are teaching your kids to worry about others business and not there own. this should not be for you to worry about. its what the parents think is best for the child.

well by all means don't send your kids to manila, all they will learn is to have several kids by their 25th birthday and by different men be marreid at lease 2 to 3 times and stay on drugs OOOPPPSSS!!! that sounds alot like Blytheville/Gosnell

the reason Armorel dose nothing about it is because they need the head count or the state may shut them down like they did the weiner distric so what ever it takes to keep the count over 350 will do.

Who cares about Blytheville schools. They don't give a rats butt if they lose kids to other school ditricts. They are more worried about the country club than they are about the schools. Manila just built a big beautiful school because they want to have room for all the kids pooring into the district.

remember this:

More kids in Manila and Armorel means more money for their schools.
What is one mans junk is another mans treasure.
Children are our greatest asset.

They actually have to buy or rent property there and show utilities in their name. Some think it's worth it when their children are having difficulty in the Blytheville system. Caucasian children are not allowed to transfer out, but minorities can go to any school without problem. It has to do with the minority percentile.

Face it. Armorel school district is growing fast. Why? No one wants their child in a Blytheville school because the schools are not fit. Why doesn't Blytheville put more money into trying to keep kids in their schools? They don't CARE that is why. The city leaders are more worried about their country club life and where they can line their pockets with more money so they can stay country club members. The city leaders don't have to send their kids to Blytheville schools. They can afford to enroll them in Armorel or Manila. All they want is what money they can squeeze out of Blytheville.

it is very simple (although i don't agree with it) children can transferr out of blytheville only if they will not be a majority in the school they want to transferr to.

If my children were reading this i would agree with you. However they do not. What pisses me off is that we have to obide by the law and send our children to Blytheville schools. While others lie their azzes off to get theirs in to Armorel.

Armorel is not growing fast. They are having trouble paying their bills. They had to hire Bruce Young, who had retired, to go out and staighten out the mess they were in or the state was going to shut them down.

They are really not doing their kids any favors by sending them to Armorel.

Blytheville has great schools. Believe what you want and run away, but the fact remains.

More money, more classes, more students, higher learning. It's all at BHS.

Have you took a look at blytheville"s budget and salaries. They don't need a millage increase that is why the citizens voted against it.What they do need is better money management skills for all employees, classified or certified. We all know who makes the big salaries. "Go Figure"
