I hear it has a bunch of crap that is hard even for people who have just graduated with college degrees. Sorry to give you bad news, but I hear it is pretty tough. They want Einsteins out there these days. It's sort of ridiculous, but hey its their test so I guess they can put whatever they want on it. Hope the best for you.

It is hard, but I passed it and I didn't have a college degree. Just be ready for the crazy interviews after you pass it. That's something to walk into when you don't expect it. Lol

It's really not that hard. It just has a lot of questions you have to think about before answereing. They word them differently. I took it and passed it. I have been in the job pool for a while. Just waiting for another interview.

The test is not that hard. I took it and did very well. The questions are basic math, reading a tape measure, decimals, averaging, etc. and general IQ questions that are just common sense. The interview after passing the test was like the spanish inquisition! There were about six people sitting around a table asking ridiculous questions and staring at you and taking notes. Talk about being on the hot seat.

I agree, the interviews can be tough (and if you're hired you'll have more than one). You feel like you're on trial and the interviewers are the jury. If you can make it thru that, you can be proud of yourself!

I passed the test it wasn't that hard if you're good at math, but you're right about the interview I went for an interview last week and I'm not sure but I don't feel like it went very good, all the guys interviewing me seemed pretty cool and all but it was definitely an experience sitting in front of four people being asked questions, maybe they'll call I'm a lot better worker than I am an interviewee.

yes the interviews are rediculous they put you in fron of 4 to 8 people. Then they all stare at you and write down everything you say.If you haven't had college classes that teach you how to interview then you dont have much of a chance.

Makes me sick. All other Nucors is not like this one. Act like your going to be the head of Nucor. These dang people of blytheville are embarrassing. I am tired of this crap get interviewed by 8 different people it would understandably if it was rocket science,Nuclear physics or working for the CIA. Last time I check Nucor is nothing more that steel makers. Its so sick its funny. One day Blytheville will be on youtube; hopefully one of those interviews as well youtube, so the whole United States can laugh at the rednecks of Arkansas. Its just sick and embarrassing to listen to some of you typical blytheville pecker heads. Oh god if I had the money I would move away from this place and forget that this place even existed. After all its just corrupted little town with corrupted leaders, good old boy thinking.

LOL what? Some one needs to knock you off your pedestal. As for Nucor the test is pretty simple basic math, basic knowledge. It does require advance degree to temper steel and steel products. As for dangerous people working out at Nucor. There are some who work for Nucor who are living accidents ready to happen.

To get a job at nucor is to stay out of politics. And don't have any friends who they hate. And it would help to be a brother inlaw or cousin. You know the good old boy system.
