Have confirmation from some in LR in economic development, it is steel mill for Miss County. Good Luck, Get off drugs and try to get a good job. Can start in construction. That is where they will be looking for the new hire people.

I now have four different confirmations from around the state. Is a done deal. Correnti and Chinese steel mill in Osceola. Only problem now is getting the leg to pass the deal. That could be interesting.
Good-by America!! Heard President Obama had hand in helping. If you remember, Correnti did spend night in White House with Clinton. He knows how to work things.

Industry does not pay property taxes because the local govt will own the property. County and city cannot tax themselves. Go take a course in economics. We are just hoping employees will live within the county. Sad to say but Marion Kennett and jonesboro will get more citizens out of this than Osceola.

Nucor will drive them out of business in a few years if this newz is true. Commodity steel iz a tough business now and Nucor has a track record of outlasting all the new startups. Atleast it will be a short distance to transport the equipment to. Blytheville once this new mill fails.

Don't get me wrong, new jobs in AR is a great thing, but I hope it is something with more of a long-term future than a new steel mill.

They will be producing a different type steel than Nucor. only competition will be for employees

Maybe next big industry will be GM, Ford, or Toyota plant, built between Denso and the new steel mill??

Are u sure air permits were not issues the last time he tried to put a mill down there? Had a lot of other works completed before he cussed out Huckabee and went to MS. Electrical, ha with 500kv lines there is all u need. Only problem there may be is HE could twist the generator armature off at Plum Point!!
Plus the legislature has to act on this finance before it can begin and all them west state legs may not want to spend money in Delta. They do notice color sometimes. What time is announcement?

You my friend are an idiot. Nucor steel is worse quality than China. It actually falls apart when formed. LOL

I will be the first to admit that I was wrong. I was sure they wouldn't be stupid enough to give that guy money.
