It wasn't just because of "a woman", Homer was provoked by Gary. A very sad situation, Homer is a good person. I didn't know Gary but I am sure he was loved by his family and friends. One life lost and another ruined because of one little slut. I won't give her name but her parents owened a store in Joiner. Gary's dead, Homer is in prison, and she is remarried living "happily ever after".

My grandparents Virgil Williams, passed April 1994 and Eva Williams passed March 2000
Great Aunt Jewell Grimes passed 1989
Father in Law Terry Chun passed 2004
Good christian Ladies at Calvary Baptist, Bly: Gertrude Rambo, Elzene Gee, Evelyn Lipford.
Great supervisor and friend,Cecil Holifield,
Cousin Floyd Ballentine, friends from Bly High School: Kenny Teaster, Karen Hill, Randy Smallwood and too many others.
There's not a day go by that I still don't think of my grandparents. Time doesn't heal all wounds, it gets a little easier but never easy. If you are a christian and if those friends and family were christians also you will one day see them again in Heaven and we will remember each other. Isn't that great?...IF you are not saved, take the time to pray to ask the Lord to save you, I pray that you will if you havn't already done so. Lean on the Lord he will give you strength.

Homer didn't go to Gary's house to shoot him because of Tracey, he went to talk it over, man to man, he asked Gary to meet him @ Larry's Gro so that they would be in a public place. Bottom line... Gary was sot because he hit Homer in the back of the head when Homer was walking away. Please don't take me wrong, I am not saying that Gary deserved what he got, I wish that Homer would have handled the situation differently.

I was there when Homer called to meet Gary at Larry's Gro. Gary told him he couldn't because he didn't have a vehicle. I know this because I was right there. Homer didn't want to talk it out and Gary didn't provoke Homer to kill him. Tracy is the one that should be in JAIL along with Homer. Gary died while moving things from his garage to the house and died with a dolly in hand. The last shot Homer took wasn't the killing shot, it was directly to Gary's face. He shot 5 times.. the first shot killed Gary. Homer overkilled.

I don't know her maiden name, she used to date Gary when she was 16 and pregnant by some Narcotics officer. She is orginally from the Joiner area. She is a manipulater. She texted Gary the day of his murder and he returned the call, only to have Homer answer the phone. She set all that up to get Homer mad/jealous or whatever her crazy brain was thinking it would do for her. She liked MONEY... and thought Gary could help get her out of her marriage. She was a user and always will be one. I have to live everyday knowing that I was the last person to see him alive and that Homer called him while I was visiting to feed the dogs because his girlfriend ( the one that owned the house ) was out of town. I have to wonder what would have happened if I hadn't left his house and Homer had arrived. Would he have shot me too? Or would Gary still be alive.... This wasn't the first time he had pulled a gun on Gary. Homer had been stalking him for weeks and pulled a gun on him in some pub and then again on the highway. Gary was scared for his life that day, but he never told me what really was happening. He gave me clues, but I didn't know much about Homer Larrow or the groc. store called Snappy Sacker. So I never put two and two together until I got the phone call that he had been shot. This will never leave me, I remember and pray everyday for Gary. Homer had a choice and he chose death for Gary and prison for himself. What would have made you sick, is to see Tracy at his side during the entire trial.(holding hands and him giving her his watch, etc.) I just wish he got more time in prison than he did and I wish she would have been charged also. I hope her life is not so happy and she has to live with it like I have to. But I doubt she has any kind of compassion for anyone but herslef. If he didn't go over there with an intention to kill, why have a gun? Why shot him 5 times and the last shot at close range directly to the face. I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND OR GET OVER THIS HORRIBLE NONSENSE MURDER. Gary wasn't perfect, but he has a good soul. We will always love you Gary. Rest in Peace !!!

That is so sad. I had no idea Gary had been killed until today. I remember when I was in jr high and he was dating Tina. Man, that's horrible. And what a screwed up situation! You are right, she should have been charged with something.
