I had just had minor surgery on my wrist , and had to go to walmart to pick up a few items. I went thru 6 carts before i could find at least 1 to go somewhat forward without pulling to the left or shacking so bad that my stitches were about to bust!!! This is totally ridicilious!!!! This town spends big bucks in Blytheville walmart. The least Management could do is repalce the worn out casters and straighten the baskets, I agree with supporting other business and benifit issues , buttttttt Mark Brown needs to donate a few dollars to replace his (dumpster ready) carts. I try to support Blytheville but when it comes to being a hazard to your health, it is well worth the trip to kennett or Jonesboro. God help our senior citizens trying to fight these MONSTER carts!!!! I am sure it is a company expense to buy new carts which in turn can be deducted off their taxes, Better take the citizens advice on this matter for if i get injured trying to manuver one of those monster carts i will surely seek legal advice!!!! Lets supprt Blythevill lol lol olollolol give us something worth supporting!!!! and maybe start keeing a little inventory on the shelves.

if you have problems with shopping carts all you have to do is go to an associate and ask for help. They are supposed to push the cart for you while you shop if needed. All you had to do was ask!!!

Instead you wanted to get on topix and be a jerk.

I've been watching you. You're an opinionated little twerp aren't you. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are. You should probably just keep your opinions to yourself.

Who gives a damn if the associates are supposed to push the cart or not? That doesn't change the fact that the majority of the carts are broken or worn out. Of course, you probably don't worry about it because you're one of the lard-asses riding around on the little scooters.

It seems to me that Walmart could invest in some new shopping carts. I can NEVER find one that works right. It is very frustrating to know that when you go there, you are going to have a hassle with the carts. I don't want an associate to walk around with me while I shop. They need some of those newer plastic carts like Lowes, Kroger, and Target.

you are kidding right??? Find an associate to push it for you, WHAT A JOKE!!! You can not even get an associate to help load a large item if needed. You wrote "supposed to" lol lol or an associate to open a check out line. So as far as being a JERK, you must be one of the ASSOCIATES that runs and hides if help is needed. I simply asked a question, this is supposed to be a forum for opinions and advice!!!! So if i am a jerk then you my dear MUST BE A JERK OFF

Good for you. This is a forum and I can never go in there I don't get a cart that sounds like it has a flat tire. For a while I would try to swap and try this one and that one but when they are all that way... I just give up. So right about an associate, I went in the other day and saw one with a basket putting merchandize back and was laying all over the basket like they just didn't have the energy to push it. So yeah try and find one to help you.

I, too, hate that the carts are a mess. When you have a broken cart and have a full load of groceries, it is nearly impossible to maneuver the cart. My biggest gripe, however, is that they cannot keep the shelves stocked. How hard is that? If the shelves are stocked, you would make more money. What about when they have a new item and you try it and really like it but will never ever see it again in the store? UGH!! Kennett isn't that far away and the taxes are lower.

If the lazy parents of Blytheville would teach their chidren to respect property, they wouldn't be all broken up and wore out. How many times have you seen kids hanging over the edges, playing bumper cars, or taking them for wheelies around the corners and running into the shelves. Thats what tears them up. They do replace them but they won't last very long in those conditions.

Your statement is so true also. I think they just repair the casters tho. Those baskets are pre-historic. Most of the walmarts have the nice blue Plcstic baskets. I think these carts are from the original Walmart back in the 80s lol. I do hate to see children abuse the baskets as well!!! That is where a store associate should have the right to speek up and request that the parent contain their child or leave. If enough people of Blytheville will get together and do a nice peacefull protest, we might be able to enjoy our Walmart experience.

Where I'm from people actually put them in the stalls in the parking lot. Here you idiots are too lazy and just leave them next to your car for someone to hit. Then wonder why they are all torn up.

Seriously?? I don't think this is being a jerk but, may the shopper could ask for a member of management and let them know about the problem. Nothing wrong with that. So chill why don't you.

The manager of Walmart should have replaced the bad ones long ago. Is Walmart broke? No. So why do they still have the carts with wobbly, nerve- wracking wheels? Because the manager doesn't care.
