Will our genius City Council members be able to hire someone from this group? They decided that they were so much smater than the actual people that run the city; the Finance Director, City Engineer, Police Chief and the Mayor.

No way will the get someone from this group either. They got their typical political hats on last time and they will this time. That's not a slam - it's their nature.

The scorpion and the fox, remember??

What I find interesting is the sheer number of out of state candidates. How many thousands of dollars will council spend to fly these people in for first interviews, second interviews and then relocation? Hotels, meals and transportation during their stay??

Sheesh, could have hired a local candidate last time and then spent some of that money on an extra snowplow so we could get some service up here in Melrose. Oh, that's right - JEFF FIX lives here in Melrose. To assure he gets no preferential treatment ~smile~ he makes sure we don't get plowed.

Pick Richard Waugh and you pick your doom.

You think you had issues over red light cameras in the past?

Wait until Waugh installs them at every intersection in the county!

Talk about your consummate politician

Picktown, you have a lot of your own issues already with your long list of politicians on council. Don't add another career politician as city administrator.

Larry Jones, former assistant to Tim Hansley????

Well, if Larry lied about that on his resume, look carefully for other lies. I seem to recall during the failed tax levy campaign, he was reported as "Unpaid Intern" wasn't he? And wasn't he an unpaid chauffer at the Violet Festival? And wasn't e an unpaid lunch pal of Tim's Posse during his tenure?

My God, that Tim guy could pick them couldn't he?

This is the price you pay when you elect these politicians to city council. If this intern is in the pool of candidates, maybe we aren't using enough chlorine in the pool.

The search is over! Jeff Fix is ready to hand over the job to Larry Jones. Jeff knows that he can attach the same puppet strings to Larry that he had on Tim.

City staff will be back to surfing porn on their computers in no time and all will be right in Jeff's world again.
