He has insurance already he said on his FB page. Your just a hater. He's done more than you'll ever do. My Mom's in a chair and I understand how hard life can be. He's an inspiration to Mom and a lot of people. Also, Fire & Police love him because he always voted to support them. You're just racist against handicaps.

I promise you that Vance Cheeck will not have the support of the PD,FD or the Seniors of this city. He will not be elected!. Once a snake always a snake!!

I'd rather call it a City Commission Mosey, not a race. The same old bowl legged slow walk that lines the pockets of the contenders. Small time politicians with big time schemes to make more pocket lettuce that benefits themselves and their cronies. No wonder it's still Little Chicago here.
"Pocket lettuce"???? Enlighten me please.

I don't think I sssstutttttered, but pocket lettuce = the green legal tender that lines ones pockets, aka: money for and from his cronies and kinfolk. So much gladhanding and back slapping in town. What is this? Wake up and smell the stench of family taking care of one another and their lackeys. Do I need to break out the Crayons for you? All these low class politicians have one thing in mind, that being promotion of their pocket lettuce!

Don't let BOLUS lie his way into office. He doesn't have a chance anyway. His health is terrible.

The community center is stunning and I hear it is used mainly by the Seniors, so what is the big complaint? I will not vote for anyone who was elected and resigned after the public trust was placed in her. I also do not see how anyone can hold office on both the city and county boards. Jane Myron may be controversial, but at least she has no "special interests".

For $15 million it should be "stunning". Too bad it is devoted to seniors at the expense of the rest of the majority population including area youth.

1. It says Senior Center on the side of the building.
2. Seniors have full access the the entire building.
3. Non-seniors have limited access to the building.
4. Parts of the building are designated as seniors only.
5. The seniors tie up two basketball courts all day.
Having keys to the building just means you are there to let the seniors in.
So what more do the Seniors want? It seems to me that past Commissioners, including Myron, were very generous to them. I have not heard one thing that is specific about what they want now!

Myron is a Republican and so is Cheek. Brock is definitely a Democrat, son ran against Matthew Hill 3 years ago as the Democratic candidate. Don't know about the others.

Here how I see Jenny Brock. I know her and like her but I will not vote for her due to her resigning from an elected position at the school board to run for city commission.I fell out of love with her as an elected official just all the people of Alaska turned against Palin when she resigned to run for national office.I also really dont like he liberal views but would have voted for her if she would have kept the other office. She is a good person but a quitter. Vance Cheek is very old history. Tomita should not serve on both boards. Myron has done much in her term but can she still do more. At least you know what you have with her.I am a senior and I am glad the way the center was handled. I wish these people would state their political party. To many liberals running this time. Already have three on the board.

This is where I am leaning. I don't think we need another person who seems to know everything AND quit what she was elected to do.

Brock is definitely a liberal as is Van Brocklin. Tomita is definitely Republican as is Banyas. I don't know about the other candidates or commissioners.

Jane Myron (and deceased husband Jim) are Repblican, always interested in issues related to small businesses. Absolutely conservative.

I don't think Bolus is behind that letter against Brock. I heard it was Cheek and possibly Tomita!

It is Bolus behind the letter. He is using the same mailing list and labels he did for his mailing. DUH He is a LIAR and doesn't have a chance anyway. For all you dumbies-the city commission race is not partisan all candidates run as independent. Again, BOLUS touts himself as Mr. Republican but is backed by Democrats so there you go. Look for the desperate candidates to to desperate things. The overall race has a pitiful line up. Just go look in front of Dan Mahoney's yard if you wanna see who the winners will be.

The Commission race may not be about Republican or Democrat, but that tells you how people will vote on money issues. With the group we have,(Republicans except VanBrocklin) we have not had a property tax increase. If we add more Dems ( probably Brock), get day to have a tax increase!
