Wow! Only 46 months for $4.2 Million. Most states you face 20 years for Grand Theft which is only $200.

Really they.are encouraging people to destroy their own economy pulling crimes like this with a slap on the hand

Not a thief personally but would sure think about running this scam. $4.2 million and pull 46 months. Thats averaging about $3000 a day. Figure you can cut 25% off of the 46 months for good behavior and non-violent crime we would be out in 36 months. that pushes it out to just under $4000 a day. Now that is a little more than I make working.

Guess I got on the wrong boat.
I did 1/3 that much time just for driving home one night (wasn't the first dui) and I didn't get nothing for it. Actually had to pay about $4000 in fines.
If I were still a young and resilient - I'd have to think about that one too!
