Jad, just a thought here, but he is a wanted fugitive being sought by the US Marshals. If you do know where he is, and you aid him in some way, you may be getting a room at the crossbar hotel yourself.

Megan, I personally harbor no ill-wil towards your family. Like I said, I've been through something like this before with a member of my own family. They checked themselves into rehab several times, and most of the time it was done to try and avoid going to jail.

Maybe I have become cynical because of my dealings with addicts. I believe in the bacic good of people, but I also know that some people are weak and some are just plain mean. I have yet to see an addict cured, a fact alluded to on here by quoting the old saying, "Once and alcoholic, always an alcoholic." If these people cannot function in society without causing problems for the rest of us, then they need to be removed from society. I truly see it as being that simple.

I hope your brother turns himself in too. It will relieve a mental burden on both your family and all the families that have been stolen from. It will also but him in a position to get away from the drugs and change his life for the better, should he choose to do so.

Not true!!! I am a recovered addict!!! Proud of it. I know the the "world's view is: once an addict always an addict" but that is only the world's view. Anyone who belives this is part of the problem and not the solution. You see, people have identity's and their souls can be subject to many things like their environment. For instance for an addict trying to get help the worst place you can be is around people saying negative things like "you'll always be an addict, you'll never change, ect". I know that the only answer is Christ (Galatians 5:1) Sorry, real truth, that you where hurt by an addict. I hurt people too. But know you can say that you have heard of someone recovering from addiction. In fact, I know alot of people who have. I doubt you have looked in the right places. The BIGGEST PROBLEM about addiction is the lack understanding. Want to get educated and help or spread wrong info!!

I hope you are cured. However, to me cured is different than being in remission. Most addicts I know have been in remission at one point or another, some for long periods of time, but eventually they always end up falling off the wagon.

Don't worry have been for years and years!! But thanks again for pointing out the problem "IT'S THAT STINKING NEGATIVE THINKING" and again I doubt you really looked for people whose identity have been changed in Christ. We don't use words like remission, we use new identitys: if you live in the past, think on the same things as you always did yes you'll fail. So I say to addicts its your choose, it ain't easy, but it can be done!!!!!!! And I totally understand how painful it can be to deal with an addict but living on your emotions alone will not help you either.

I don't doubt that people CAN change, but like you say, they have to WANT to change for it to happen. It won't last if they change because other people want them to, no matter how much we may hope it will.

ABSOLUTELY "Choose for yourselves this day, whom you will serve, as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15" It was my chose and I will tell every addict it is theirs and can be done. "I can do all things in Christ who strenghtens me.Phil 4:13. The Real "TRUTH was there in the beginning. The real "TRUTH" knew me before I was born. The real "TRUTH" says that I am no longer an old addict sinner but a saint Eph 1.1. The real "TRUTH" says I have been redeemed and forgiven Col 1:14. The real "TRUTH" says I am free forever from condemnation Rom 8:1-2. The real "TRUTH" says I am free from any charge against me Rom 8:31-34. The real "TRUTH" says I will reap what I sow, but he will be with me always Eph 2:18. The real "truth" says You will know the truth and the truth will set you free John 8:32. We are set free not by how we behave, but by what we believe. I believe the real Truth. The real "TRUTH" will stand when the world is on fire. The real "TRUTH" loves you and me unconditionally! I say spread the good news!!!!!!!!

Maybe I should stay away from Nick if their are U.S. Marshals looking for him. I've seen those guys on Manhunters and they usually catch whom they are looking for.

I've been robbed..by them I'm not sure! But Hubbard was seen around my place quite a bit! Even the law said to me to keep my eyes open for him and whoever is with him! The law was on to them and it was just a matter of time! Good thing someone didn't come in on me and my family! I would hate for the Lord to have to judge me for the actions I would have taken!
Now maybe if they do go to prison I hope everything I've ever heard about prison happens to these men! Over and over! You guys follow me! So when and if they live through it and back in society they may not so easily forget about prison life! Maybe scare them straight! I hate it for the Hubbard family! But a bad egg is what it is!

I know im a little late in posting on the main subject of this thread.. but.. I, too, was robbed back in the summmer of 09 when all of the houses in chinquapin were broken into.. my mobile home was on the property I own between chinquapin and hickory tree but I wasnt living there yet, they took things that cannot be replaced by money so Im still pissed off.. there was nothing the cops could do, didnt even bother to call em this time (this was 2nd time for my house being broken into but I know who did it the first time and he was in prison this second time, so im pretty sure it was these boys)- One of them must be a tony stewart fan cause they even took my tony fan box...

I did get one laugh from it all tho.. apparently, a cat had been living in the mobile home and had been using the bathroom on the box that had a portable jeep grill in it that they took so at least they get a great wiff of cat pee every time they use it and i bet that made their drugs taste really good. lol

Addiction is a terrible thing, i agree but when someone doesnt want help, then they have to learn the hard way and prison is a start.

Megan, there is no way you can assure me of anything... You only know what your brother wants you to know honey. Besides, how could someone take the word of the sister of a drug-dealing, drug-addicted jailbird thief? You'd lie for him in a heartbeat and you know it.

I didnt want to get into a big debate over who did it or not, its not like Im gonna get my stuff back. I just wanted to state that my house was broken into as well, at the same time as the others, in the same location, etc...

You should go back under the rock you crawled out of. You should be ashamed of yourself. I would rather be a thief any day then be a judgemental lier. She said that because her brother didn't have his freedom in 2009. He was accounted for. But even though you might not have known that, the fact that you would judge her character shows exactly what kind of person you are. If you are going to talk about something a person done wrong you really really shouldn't make an a__ out of yourself. Practice what you preach!!!!!!!!!!

Look, she didnt say he was incarcerated, she said he wasnt in town, that is totally different, so she should have been more specific in her post. I was told that they were seen in the area of my house the day before it was broken into but this was way after the fact or I would have called the police then. Maybe I was a little harsh in my post so for that, I do apologize Megan..

however, you dont know what having my house broken into did to me.. I live alone, in the country, where I have lived all my life and never felt unsafe until now. I bought a gun, I wont leave my home alone at any time now, am in fear of someone breaking in while I am asleep, etc.. not everyone can just get over it cause it was just "stuff that can be replaced" stolen.. its more than that, its an invasion, you feel violated that someone went through your personal items and home, the one place where you are supposed to be the King (or in my case, Queen) of your castle... This did an emotional number on me that still causes me to have nightmares... so maybe I misdirected my anger but I dont need to crawl under a rock cause of it.

Now now, didn't you say you lived between Chinquapin and Hickory Tree!!! Always felt safe, yeh right! I'm from there. You never know what is going to happen. And yes absolutely I have been abused every which way from Sunday so I think I know how you feel. I don't know ,however, why you keep judging people who had nothing to do with it. Since your the sister you got to have something wrong with you too, since you aren't a single women you don't understand, since the boys were supposedly seen around my house they probably did it. I hate that a bad thing happen to you!!! But I would suggest that instead of judging everyone you go get help and I don't mean with a gun. It cracks me up that people will fuss about thiefs and then go get a gun and brag about it. What are you saying its not ok to steal but guns are _____? Why not a good dog, security system, ect!! This is why we are going to lose our gun rights!!!

Im not going to keep defending myself for one comment I made.. I apologized for directing my anger in the wrong direction to Megan... and yes, I've lived here for a long long time (over 30 yrs) and always felt safe.. not as much as a piece of paper has ever been taken from my house/yard while I was growing up .. ya know why? cause Im poor.. thats why.. there wasnt much to steal.. and I had a dog but that didnt help much, they just patted him on the head while they carried stuff out of my house. As for a security system, I am a disabled woman, who does not draw disability so dont start that I am living off the government next, who has no money and barely can pay the bills each month, I couldnt afford a security system. And the items that were stolen from me.. u know where they came from? I WON them in contests.. thats where. As for getting a gun, I wasnt bragging, I didnt want to have a gun in my home but what other option do I have? I dont want to get killed during a robbery so im gonna defend myself, period. Guns arent bad.. ppl are bad.. dont post to me like I am an idiot, cause Im far from it.

Besides.. arent u doing the same thing to me that you are accusing me of doing to someone else? Who the heck are you? You are judging me even tho I apologized for my comment and tried to explain why i feel like I do yet here is another post from you putting me down for putting someone else down.. LOL.. what creditability does that give u?

I Dont know who broke into my home, but what I do know is it happened during the same time as these other robberies in this area, those two boys were seen near my house and I live in a secluded part of the country so they weren't just "passing by" So I wanted to add that to this post that it happened to me too. I did make a comment that might have been wrong and I owned up to as an adult and apologized yet here I am getting chastised by someone for something I already said sorry for.

I will not waste another minute responding to your posts again.. you remind me of why i stopped posting in these public forums anyways.. some ppl have no life and nothing better to do than dissect everyone elses posts to try and cause a "rise" out of them.. well.. we're done here.. have a nice day.:-)
