needachangeofscenery, I work at the TMMI plant in indiana. Cant help with the local info but can tell you the plant will probably work 2 shifts Blue shift hours are 6:30am to 3:15pm with 45 minutes for lunch, and Gold shift hours of 6:00pm to 2:45am again with 45 minutes for lunch. They take two 10 minute breaks with 1 minute travel time at the start and end (12 minutes total). Good luck getting on at the plant. I am trying to find out about the locale myself as I am interested in transferring.

Thanks for telling me the hours...I would need to work the first shift. lol! I would just be happy to know someone to talk to down there because I don't make much money where I'm at, and I hate relying on my ex husband to help me out. I put "needachangeofscenery " because I desperately do!! Do you like working at TMMI? Where I work at we supply parts to you guys..Not sure which parts..But I know we supply to Indiana and Texas..

When they first open there will only be one shift. Then after things get lined out the second shift will start.I have heard rumors of rotating shifts but you never know.We don't rotate at TMMK so I have considered trying to transfer for a chance of being on days even though it would be a pay cut.Toyota usually don't advertise thier pay scales but trust me you will like it

You have to keep a very close eye on your email. That's how TMMMS will contact you. After the assessment, you have to do training (very hard). It will last about 8 hours (depending on the position). Not sure what happens after that. Good Luck!!!

Hours will be 6:30p - 3:15a and 6:30a - 3:15p on a two week shift rotation. Extensive training, excellent benefits and a great company with job stability! Not like Ford, GM, etc. Tobacco free environment and campus. Everyone needs to apply! Production jobs start at 15.00 and top out at 21.00. Skilled start at 19.50 and top out at 26.50.

Select International will contact you if you pass the production testing and schedule you for an interview with Toyota people at the Belden Win Job Center. Be patient, hiring is done according to the staffing plan. Should you pass all the screenings, then someone from Toyota Mississippi will call you.

Going for my "extensive training" on Feb 8 can anyone tell me what I will be doing there? I would like a heads up on things... Smoke free? So what if u do smoke? They don't give you a place to do it?

I have been through all the screenings and my start date is Feb 21st. The 9 hr simulation was pretty tough but should be no problem unless you have never worked in manufacturing. I am leaving a $23 hr job to go to toyota for job stability.

Jimmy - I have a brother in law that works at toyota huntsville, he has no complaints. I am also loking at the long run (job stability), I do live in Decatur but I am going to sell my house and relocate to that area. I am having a hard time finding resonable places to rent around Blue Springs.

I took 3 test over the computer at a local win job center. This will be phase 2 of the hiring process for me. I go in 2 days and I can't wait! Prices are high around the tupelo area I live in cario ms it's not all that far from Florence I'm sitting south of Burnsville.. So the plant is going to be right at an hour or little less from me not too bad except the z71 with 35s under it may love the gas to get there and back haha
