Is supporting a golf course really necessary? Adams Pointe is a monetary drain that only provides recreation for those who care about golf and can afford it. In the mean time everyone else takes a cut or loses their jobs. Doesn't seem right.

They should first start by looking at payroll and see who gets payed the big bucks for sitting at a desk all day.And that goes for all cities not just Blue Springs !Independence is another place to look into ! Also they should let outsiders have a chance to work for the city instead they hire FAMILY and they get all the GOOD jobs. You have Dad and sons and daughters all working for the city of Independence this makes me sick very unfair !

The city did a great job killing 7hwy. Maybe they should redo Adams Dairy Pkwy AGAIN. How long is that road going to drain the city? Hope nobody voted for Grounds today, remember he started this mess.

Why are they laying people off when Eric Johnson the city administrator just had a brand new Ford Taurus bought for him by the city??? It's my understanding that that car costs more than some of the people who got laid of yearly salary...Hmmm

The Rosy economic picture painted by the Blue Springs City fathers is a far cry from what the actual situation is . The Mayor , City Mgr. and others in the community told some tall tales to justify the City of Blue Springs backing a private developers project to the tune of an additional $30 million dollars in guarenteeing the delevopers credit . The whole time they knew that in 2010 some city employees would loose there jobs because of revenue short fall's .
