I remember seeing this on the news when it happened and it saddens me to see so many people coming on here and spreading hate towards family and loved ones of this young man. I didn't know him but for anyone to die that young it truly is a tragedy. I hope his family and friends will find peace, I know first hand how hard it is when you lose a friend and loved one. May he rest in peace and never be forgotten.

In the past three years, I had gotten to know more and more about my nephew, Chris Cooper. Especially within this last year during some impromptu family gatherings he indicated his interest in Architecture as a career direction. My son, being a successful Architect was very encouraging towards Chris's interest and looked forward to connecting him with a good school and eventually job opportunities when those times came. Unfortunately, due to stupidity by two intoxicated morons, that developing dream has vanished. Chris just being the balanced individual that he had turned himself into would have certainly offered his talents to the betterment of man-kind no matter what profession he chose. Saddly, we will never see this happen however, he did leave us with on important step for each individual who knew him. In his passing he has brought together the community that surrounded him and caused them to appreciate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is not intended to sound corny as these three ideals identified by our forefathers actually hit the mark today. Chris has reminded us by his death that life is to be lived to the fullest. Appreciate what you have. Acknowledge the best in those around you. One could ask for no more. Take the step forward and be the best that you can be. You can learn this fact of life at any age. Why not now!

Ralph I am so sorry about Chris Cooper. My name is Betty Louise Gluck (Roark) my grandmom was Emma Van Natta (gould) are you family with Coopers kids or Larwson or Judys kids can't remember last name.

Its been 5 yrs today. Its still hard to believe your gone sometimes. I constantly see someone out in public that from a distants looks like you and I have to remind myself that it couldn't be you because your not with us anymore or at least not in the physical sense but you are always here in spirit. I only wish you knew how much you impacted other peoples lives. My heart goes out to your parents because I can't imagine the pain they endure everyday without you in their day to day lives. Till we all meet again RIP
