I dont know anything about matt or dog or any of you drama queens, however i do find it very concerning that all of this bs is about a gym that I would very much like to join. Ive toured the gym and i am very impressed to say the least, my biggest concern is in regards to the accusations of blatantly breaking contractual agreements with the customer (charging double, taking fuds after cancellation). I hope that these are just accusations and not facts, for matts sake. My guess is that this forum is simply a pathetic attempt at keeping other gyms with less clout from going out of business, and yes im talking to you blue springs fitness, im sorry but your websites literature looks as if it may have been written by a middle school student. Typical mindless college graduate I guess. Matt if you do read this forum I would like to tell that your gym is beautiful and I wish you the best, and if you try take one cent more than our agreement states ill sue you and I will win.

Spend some quality time and do your homework, Matt Inman does not own this gym. His wife's family owned it but since then have had to turn it over to the owner of the building due to lack of financials. He just manages now, they just don't tell you that because it sturs up concerns with current and potential members. A lot of this information on here is quite commical, however true. Go to casenet and see all the critical evidence to clearly prove that this guy has more people sueing him than visiting him at the gym. And you will lose...because this guy has no money! Nice gym maybe, but way overbuilt and now cannot afford it. Everyone told him to stick to the basics but he just had to get greedy...now look at him! If I were you, just get a month to month membership...much safer! They probably don't offer that huh?

Well he has been open for awhile now and seems to be making it ok. Has added new cardio equipment and a spa/salon. Also I do not see a developer owning a gym. Just my opinion on that. Well you all have a nice day and remember to smile!!

You run that risk at any gym. There have been a number of reports posted on The Consumerist about various gyms doing those types of things.

Been a member for a few months now. Awesome place, definitely recommend to anyone. If youre concerned with it closing, just get a monthly membership. If you can't afford to risk 30 bucks, you should be working out at home! The new racquet ball courts rock!

I've been a member of Club 7 Fitness for 8 months and find it to be a great place to work out. Matt has always been polite and helpful, and seems to run it very well. We enjoy the hot tub, racquetball, and equipment, and the fact that the club has a wholesome, family-friendly feel to it.

Anyone know what the rate is for a family membership at Club 7? I would like to know before calling as I have seen gyms give different rates to different people depending on a variety of factors.

I was a member for less than 15-18 days and they cond me in to a 1 yr agreement when I was told it was month to month like 24 hr. So I cancelled having only used the gym once. This was july. They are still taking money out! Complete scam of a gym!

Wonderful Owners!: I emailed the owner, Matt, when after only 1 week at the gym my baby boy along with a few other children was passed a childhood virus from another member's child. These thihngs happen and I expected my email to be dismissed, but Matt emailed me back and called me personally to ask how my son was and to assure me that he took my concerns so seriously that he (at great expense, I'm sure) was contracting with an antimicrobial service to have every square inch of the gym treated. Wow! I am so impressed at the length he went to to keep his memembers safe and reassure us. The group fitness classes are wonderful and I am so impressed with the owners. I would reccommend Club 7 to all the moms who want to take an hour or so to do something good for themselves. Your babies are in good hands!

the only thing matt inman has done is try a give people in blue springs a nice facility to utilize and fulfill a life long dream. If something wrong has been done then prove it or pipe down

Best gym I've ever been to in my life. Clean, great equipment and facilities. I actually drive very fat out of my way to go to this gym over many much closer.

I don't know Matt personally, but Matt is in the gym himself all the time, and personally asks members what they think and what they would like to see. They actually listen too.

Like any business there will always be good and bad, and unfortunately, like most businesses, people well try to focus more on the negative than the positive.

I absolutely love Club 7! They are by far the best gym I have been to! There isn't a gym in the area that is even close to Club 7 in my opinion, and, I have visited several of them while considering which gym to join. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

So I got a lovely call today about my membership going into collection? What membership? I cancelled over a year and half ago due yo me moving 2 to 3 hours away. We came to an agreement that you take 3 yo 4 more paymwnts from me(even though i was already moved by then). And you end the contract all signed off on this. Now you are hitting me up for no payment. I have yhe bank receipts that you took out your money. Money i was paying for not even using the gym. Now you want more?! You also say I'm not the only one hit. Well I see a hail storm coming your way club 7. When I called the lady was very short and rude and claimed they had nothing to do with it? How so? Your program your contract. Sounds like you are ripping people off and trying to give them bad credit to their name like you already have. Sorry but you are NOT getting anymore money from me.
