If you haven't already, check out Ably's Asian Cuisine (Chinese/ Thai/ Sushi) in Jasper for the freshest food, best service and reasonable prices around. They are located next to Fatz on the eastern side of Highway 515. I am a regular customer of theirs....Try this place one time and you'll agree, it's the best restaurant around!

Garbage food everywhere In this area, downtown Blue Ridge he worst. the worst . Go to Charleston, New York, New Orleans then tell us about good ood and service.
You obviously have not eaten in any of the restaurants in Blue Ridge. The restaurants are very good. Try the Blue Ridge Brewery, Christy Lees, Toccoa River Restaurant or Cucina Rustica. They're all excellent. You're referencing large cities wherein the bill would be several time what you pay in Blue Ridge. Don't compare apples to oranges.

Christy Lee's food is terrible and Harvest on Main has terrible service. Haven't been to Toccoa Riverside since it reopened. Went to Cuccina Rustica a couple of years ago and it was ok ... nothing special. I ate pizza at the place next door and it was very good. Whistle Stop is filthy dirty. Would never go there again. You can't beat Waffle King for fast food since it has a new owner.

Cucina Rustica no offense must be owned by folks from Floriduh. Reservations really diners drive ins and dives aint visiting no time soon. Get over yourself your in the old cigar shop for damn sake. The pizza place next to it..mehhh ok..not worth the hassle. Most of the joints around here try to shine the shoes of the fly by night tourists instead of focusing on the mainstay the locals.

Most likely buddy someone that would enjoy a good meal or wants to get out of the sticks.
You might try it some time.
Better go to Europe and try a decent meal.

Whatever you're smoking, I'd like some. You are obviously delusional. Each of those tourist traps have horrible service and overpriced food.

like some of the smoke .I agree the food is awful in Blue Ridge. People flip a few burgers at home on the grill then hangout a restaurant sign.

Food Choices in the BR are so limited. To get something decent you have to pay such a ridiculous price for just okay food. However a few of my top picks are
1. Mikes seafood(bville) is pretty good!
2. Harvest, pricey but really good stuff sometimes
3. Brewery. Really good apps and burgers
4. Toccoa, really good steak!
5. Sisters, great prices and alright food, love the salad bar!

I like the Village. Can beat the price. We're big eaters and wipe out their food bar everytime we go.

Ugh! That place is disgusting! The Village is the nastiest restaurant in town! You're likely to get protein where you shouldn't cause of all the dead bugs/rodents etc you may be eating... Gross!

Ably's Asian in Jasper is still the best of the best bar none.

This is the place you will often find other north Georgia restaurant owners eating at.

Check out the reviews on the web- then travel forty minutes south to enjoy this delicacy.

Call out time...
So how many times have YOU ACTUALLY BEEN to NYC or NOLA? TV dosen't count.
You can go in the smallest hole in the wall in NYC and usually have great food.
There is a reason why NY is the size it is and Blue Ridge is the size it is.
