Seriously doubt that its your mail person. All problems should be directed to the post office not a forum. Thats IF you want to get the problem solved.

People steal mail and use personal data collected from various random pieces (SSN) to apply for credit cards in your name, which they come back to steal later. It's the oldest tweaker trick in the book.

Leave a big priority mail envelope sticking out one night with a big spider sealed inside of it, should do it late so the spider is still angry when it is discovered.

Thats scary!

Although, if somebody was to ever steal my identity, my credit score would prob go up 100 points LOL

"Mailboxing" will land a person in federal prison for a nice 5-10 for sure. Gets a man nice and reacquainted with The Lord.

Not exactly a Bond-villain-type of scheme.

Ive always been a a bit paranoid about paying my bills on line, thinking somebody could use my details. Never really thought about mailboxing.

Ive also heard face book can be dangerous for ID theft.
I dont put anything personal on mine, just in case. But I noticed the other day you can buy people gifts on their birthdays, just give ya credit card details on there. No thanks...

Hackers are such a small threat mainly because in order to target you they would most likely be domestic. I was hit by Mexican (Hah) hackers once, cost me $0.87, good thing those guys don't have expensive tastes.

My husbands bank account was hacked and used not long ago, and the bank reimbursed him the money..
Then last week on the credit card somebody booked and payed for a motel through a site on line. These days transaction out of the norm for you, must get flagged, because the bank has contacted us each time.
