Wes Kight convicted of sexual harassment at MACA

Wes Kight was convicted for sexually harassing a student under the age of 16. He's going to serve 4 yrs and probation 25 years! Love the masks that MACA is wearing and first baptist church in Blairsville. Way to go DA of Blue ridge!

sexual assault actually. he molested a student at MACA. went on for months. i heard they moved up here from FL to get away from another son that did the same thing to another little girl and he can never teach again. They own the sawmill in blairsville and the son runs it that was accused in FL. maybe they will run to another town after this son did this.

I think it is sick that someone can plead guilty to harming a child and get a reduced sentence as a reward. What about the life sentence they give to their young victims. Shame on anyone who helped him cover this up wether it be people at the church, his wife, and especially MACA who was entrusted with this dear child. Also shame on Judge (and I use the term loosley) Doss for allowing this pervert to go home for the weekend to tell his son bye. He should have thought of his son while he was molesting someone elses child. He had plenty of time to tell his family good bye while awaiting court. How will Doss feel if he runs and doesn't report to jail, or tries to contact his victim. I know he was told not to but, someone who molests children obviously has no problem defying the law. Judge Doss my sympathy is not to the self confessed child molester but, to the victim and her family. Where is her special treatment? Sadly, not so long ago in Florida his brother did the same thing to a child. Google Shawn Kight it will tell part of the story. The best thing that could happen is this disgusting family to move. All the people who have treated this girl and her family poorly over the past several months should be ashamed now that the truth is out and he admitted what he did!!!

His brother did the same thing (shawn) in fernandina beach fl. with a 14 year old. And he has children too, a boy and a little girl! google his name. I agree with mouth never, never again will I ever go to their restaurant, my money will not support these pedophiles!!

people need to know about others that move to there town. It could happen to one of our children. Bless the little girl that spoke up. I dont know the family but Im very, very proud of this child, my she have confront all the days of her life and joy in everything she does, and one day a husband that loves her, and cares for her, and beautiful children

I think its very rude and unfair to accuse his wife and children for his doings. I know BOTH families in this case, and the accused's wife and children are some of the nicest people I have ever known. Its very unfortunate that they got involved in this, but they are NOT to blame. Keep that in mind before anyone else decides to write a snide comment about them moving to florida.

I don't see on here anyone has blamed anyone but, the SEXUAL DEVIANT. His wife and children are victims as well. Reading the above posts looks like they were not telling them to leave think they were talking about the brother who also had the same situation. I think people are now just nervous for their children knowing one of these 2 brothers is still out wandering the streets possibly looking for another "relationship". Stuff like child molestation scares people. I am sure the wife of the convicted sex offender is very sad. She must really love him there is no way I could still stand by him and have let him come back into my home after pleading guilty to such a crime. First of all, he is CONVICTED not ACCUSED. He pleaded guilty which they had letters to prove his guilt. I know both families also and his wife DID KNOW about this as well as the son! she just hid behind the lies from the generational sin of the family. The CONVICTED family lied their way up here and will lie their way into a new town when they leave. Also , they moved from Florida to escape one son's conviction! What would you do if this happened to YOUR CHILD???
