Are there good deals on real estate in Fannin county? Looking for cabin and would like a community with paved roads. Who is the best and honest real estate agency?

We recently moved to the area. Didn't see many "good deals" in Blue Ridge, but found what we were looking for. As far as a community with paved roads, I really like Mountain Tops. It's a little more upscale and closer to town than most we looked at. I know there are several nice homes for sale in that community now.

We love Blue Ridge and are so glad we made the move.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for comments. We have been on line checking out properties and will call a couple realtors when we take a trip there next month.
Any comments regardinging Hayesville or Franklin area?
Looking for feedback on any builders in the area as well.

Sorry, I am not familiar with Hayesville or Franklin.

When we began looking in BR for a home, we considered building. We soon realized that with the ample supply of homes available, we would be able to find what we were looking for (or come real close). We met with one builder, Keith Sumner. Though not for building, but renovating an existing home to meet our needs. He has built some beautiful homes in the area and has a very good reputation. You can "Google" his name and should be able to pull up more info.

I will tell you this, I have noticed a lot of homes that we looked at just a few months ago are off the market right now. I suppose the owners took them off because of the slow time of year and the risk of the listing becoming stale over the winter. So just know that there will be plenty more available with the beginning of Spring.

These are in no particular order, as all are great builders. They each have their own style of building as well. Some more rustic than others, but I would feel comfortable w/any of these guys. Hope this helps!
