The linemen and road crews have been working hard all night long. They brought in crews from Gilmer to assist Tri State with getting power back on. Damage is widespread over the north end of Fannin County. MANY, MANY trees and power lines down. I was actually "trapped" in "downtown" Mineral Bluff yesterday during the storm. No way out because of downed trees and power lines blocking roads in all directions. Highway 60 north was closed between Humphrey Mill and Salem Road until fairly late last evening because of downed power lines and lots of trees all over the road (ask me how I know...I was trying to get home and came up on it just after the winds subsided but before crews had arrived). My hat's off to all the emergency crews and first responders. They've done a wonderful job given how widespread the damage is.

Yes they are doing great and hard at work but I wish they would get our Road. It's been off since 12 yesterday and have ran out if heat and have a little one. I also thank the Fannin schools for taking care of the children during the storm. They did great job!!!

The only thing I know for sure is that when I called about getting my power back on, I was told they were on scenic drive and also my hub said he saw trucks.. Hope that helps..
