While I visit Blue Ridge on occasion, I will say this about Riverstone walk-in clinic, they are fantastic! I see a lot of bashing on here and maybe some of you did receive bad service, but if you take into consideration the amount of SICK, whiney people seen on a daily basis, Iím sure you would clearly see that those nurses and doctors are bound to have a bad day. I was lucky enough to have a nurse (curly brown hair) who was as sweet as they come and truly interested in my illness and getting me better. So maybe instead of only posting the very worst experience you had, why not try being a little nicer? After all, it could be a lot worse, anyone visit Grady or an inner city clinic lately?

The female Dr. mentioned above must not be there anymore.
My family and myself have been there several times this year 2010. Have usually seen a very mature, kind, considerate, understanding, knowledgeable, male doctor, Dr. Galloway,I believe. I would hope he is there every visit we have, but then we have had real good experiences with the other providers. I would highly reccommend this Immediate Medcare to anyone needing medical care.

The current medical recommendation is actually 3 days of antibiotics for a bladder infection. Over use of antibiotics causes bacteria to become resistant.
You don't usually call the ER and get "refills" so I am unsure as to why you would think that the urgent care clinic should give you refills
they only give you 3 days so you have time to see your Dr.

Anybody had any good experiences at the Riverstone Walk-in. I made my first and last trip there. The doctor I saw saw very short, rude and arrogant. She acted as if she was aggravated that I was there.
Just the other day me and wife was down at the Ingles buying our beer and her genital warts flared up. I rushed her to the walk in clinic and we were treated real nice. The doc even give her a sample of some new cream. And she even threw in a scrip for my Viagra.

I have been to Riverstone walk in clinic on many ocassions. My problems have ranged from bladder infection to pleurisy I have always found the service excellent, and the physicians excellent. I found Dr Galloway excellent - quick, accurate and efficient. Sometimes the office people are not the friendliest but the medical care is excellent. I much prefer the clinic to the Fannin ER.

I agree with the post about Dr. Galloway. I have seen him on two different occasions, once for a broken thumb and the other for a sledding accident along with the startings of a cold. He was very friendly and professional and took good care of me. As for the other Drs. I don't know about them, but I absolutely love Dr. Galloway. I will see him again when I can't get into my PCP. Also, the office staff helped me tremendously with paper work for my insurance. Just my opinion.

No one should ever reply to these posts from a corporation. This post is meant for humor. Nothing is to be taken seriously on this post. As I understand it, Dr. Morgan is returning to Alabama. One thing that I am more concerned about is grammatical correctness and lack of proof reading. This spills over to all areas of life and shows a tendency to slovenliness. Whether it is in nursing or medicine, when your sentences run together and lack correct punctuation it makes me wonder about the level of care given.

You should never see a doctor or nurse practitioner for the beginnings of a cold. You should stay home and treat it yourself.

Cipro is not that effective for a bladder infection. Macrobid 14 days reins supreme.

I take my kids to riverstone clinic when I cant get seen at my regular doctor and I have never had a bad experience there. When my kids insurance got cancelled and they both got very sick, Riverstone clinic was actually cheaper than my regular Doctor. I am very thankful for such a great place to take my children!

I went to Immediate medcare in ellijay, I received treatment from staff on duty and felt like they did the right procedures. to diagnose my problem. Happy about that. Now the issue I have with Im. care is i am a cash patient. I asked what i owed for their services & was presented a balance which i in good faith paid in full, now a month later i received a bill for ten dollars more. I called their billing department & i asked how could i owe this ten dollar balance and was informed by the representative i was speaking with that she was not there & how the computer could have miss calculated the bill so because of failure on there part i still owed the balance.I suppose the next time i go to my local grocery store they will charge me for an item i purchased the last time i was there because they mis marked the price that is common place in the business world they never eat their mistakes. Wouldn't you agree Mr. Rice.

I have been to the riverstone clinic many times because they were open late and more convenient to get into than a.primary dr office. My children have been seen there as well as my husband and myself. I have never had a bad experience there and the staff from the front desk to the dr were very pleasant and helpful. Maybe if some people were not so uptight and judgmental themselves they might have had a better office visit. I would definitely visit the clinic again.

I have never been seen at riverstone clinic but if they have the same doctors they have at Fannin Hospital I would never go.I do not care if you are a nurse or whatever work you do at Fannin Hospital that made a comment on here that Hospital sucks and should be closed down. They are heartless. My uncle was dying with cancer they kicked him out because his insurance ran out he got moved to the Nursing home 5 hours later he died pissed me off they could have let him stay since he was not going to live long.A year later my mom was in there for over a week talked about congestive heart failure she had a bad heart anyway. They released her. They did nothing for her they should have sent her somewhere else.Three days later she died at her home by her self. They did all kinds of test the doctor never talked to us about anything.I new my mother was sick they are doctors why couldn't they just sent her somewhere if they could not help her? They know nothing here in this small town nothing and no I am not from out of town born and raised here.People can agree or disagree everyone has there own opinion.I will stick to my opinion and no one will ever change my mind about about Fannin Hospital.Kelly Koay was the best she helped my son so much always sent him to specialist in Atlanta if she was not sure what was going on with him that is a true doctor the good doctors never stay here.

You should consider becoming a doctor, it's easy for someone who knows as much as you do.
