Full story: www.cnn.com

A massive anti-mafia sweep that stretched from New York to Sicily has not only cut off the head of the Gambino crime family but lopped off "the shoulders and chest" too, a spokesman for the attorney general of ...

If Bush were in charge of the investigation he would invade Italy to get the Mafia.

Bomb the city of Rome to get a couple of hundred gangsters.

Usama bin Laden = 19 people with box cutters.

Dumbya Bush =$2 Trillion Dollars and lost two wars with the best military on earth.

Mobsters have the best nicknames. My favorite from this story is "Domenico "The Greaseball" Cefalu" The dudes nickname is Greaseball that's hysterical. I like this one too, Michael "Mike the Electrician" Urciuoli Was he the explosive guy?

IAVA:(first post) What does your comment have to do with this story? What does Bush have to do with it? Just like a Lib can't stick to the topic, Moron

The New World Order is coming and the Mafia have been told the hard way they not invited.

The NWO isn't even flexing its muscles.
Costa nostra are fleas to them. They just being made examples of. Esp the secrecy side, no one can hide. Who ever you are, where ever you are, the NWO knows you.

Just hope they deal with some of these street gangs soon. The maturer established patched gangs are ok, they keep to themselves mostly.

The teen aged street thugs are getting out of hand and expanding. I wish the NWO had a PO Box so I could write to them and tell them about these lil dik heads.

Amazing. They can wipe out (supposedly) a sophisticated criminal element like the mafia but they can't wipe out the punk street gangs in this country. I worry more about these punks than the mafia.

And your fine senator/representatives were not the least bit involved...they don't have the ability to make decisions. They are just like lambs to the slaughter huh. I have never seen so many imbecilic people in one area as there are on the northeast and Hollywood.

I remember during the WW2 invasion of Sicily,we needed contacts in the area. The US government reached out to "Lucky Luciano". With his enormous help the way was set for the taking of Sicily.

The docks,in NY,and all over the country were controlled by "The Boys" Again, an appeal by the FDR government to "Lucky Luciano" to make the operations on US docks trouble free. This insuring the shipping of men and materials thro out the world.

With friends like Mr. Luciano and company, who needs enemy's?

For "Luciano's" Patriotic participation in this,Congress was to present him a medal.

What they gave him was a pardon for all of his activity's.Mr. Lucky Luciano retired in Sicily. An unsung hero.

the mafia must have had something on someone up in the chain of command.and you can bet it was something really incriminating.

why not go after the thugs on the street? because most of the drugs out on the street that the little thugs are pushing is given to them by our elected officials.

An after thought,..lets face it,Americans love the myths, and attraction of organized crime.
Our own Western hero's were in fact hoodlums and thugs.

No one ethnic body has a hold on crime. Each in their own way left their mark.

However the Sicilian variety brought something different. "BRAINS" Well organized like some country ,it prospered till to day.

Often in its beginnings in the USA ,it championed the poor immigrant ,who was getting a rough time from the previous groups of immigrants.

Crime is an equal opportunity employer. Our Government, like all governments ,are engaged in legal crime.

The Hypocrisy of this is believable.

So go to the movies, watch this Crime Thing ,Mafia Style, and be mesmerized. For in each one of us,their is the love of adventure ,lust ,revenge, wealth, and danger.

"Robin DA HOOD", is our Anglo Saxon hero. When "Errol Flynn" jumps around ripping off the rich we cheer.Same when,"The God father" deals out a more fairer Justice,an eye for and eye type,we cheer.Same for the most popular TV serious the "Soprano's". The list is endless of the entertainment factor of this.

This Mafia thing, makes us offers we cannot refuse, that is the fascination of their world.Life would be duller without there exploits, for us to see.......... CIAO!

You know nothing about this person's political leanings other than he makes a post critical of GWB and yet you refer to him as a "Lib".In case you have had your head in the sand a lot of people of every possible political stripe have been critical of his foreign policy and rightfully so.I think it is you that looks like a moron here.

And lest we forget, Bush let Osama Get Away !

But the guy who had no ability to attack us, and who's army we defeated back in the 90's, Bush bravely defended us from him ! LOL, it could make a great comedy skit !

The topic is MOB.There are plenty of political Topix but here all i want to say is that the Soprano final episode was very lame.Com plete waste of time.Tony deserved a much more memorable memorial.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
