Let the people who use the trail pay a small fee to cover this equipment not tax payers.j

Gerald. The land that the bike trail is on was annexed years ago by the city of anniston. Therefore it is the city's responsibility to cover this tract of Forever Wild land. If there is a theft or violent crime committed at the trail head APD will respond. Should the trail users pay for that too?! How about only the people whose houses burn down pay a small fee to help fund the fire dept when they need a new fire truck or medical supplies to help the civilians they protect?!?! Or maybe you could completely move off the grid and not worry about it at all? Eh....?

Gerald, tax payers already pay for thousands of unemployed people to eat and have medical care and function with the rest of society. Is there something wrong with some of our tax dollars going to work for a more productive part of this community. Everyone who rides these trails is a hard working American. Not living off of the government. And they all pay taxes just like you. So their small fee is already included into what they have paid. Good try tho!
