Some whispers in the hallway are saying that Nancy may not run in April. Theresa will be running for Village Clerk on the ticket with Bob Stranczek.

They are looking at bringing in an outsider to be police chief, who would replace Theresa.

Seems to me that the Mayor of CrestWood and the Mayor of Oak Forest have alot in common, neither of them know how to run a town. And now both town's can elect a new mayor come election time!

I dont know who else could fill Nancy's shoes. Theresa could be a good choice. By bringing in an outsider to the police department, it would be a good way to bring in some new blood and get handle on the police department.

I completely agree that Theresa would be good for the village of Crestwood, but NOT Stranczek. The apple didn't fall too far from the tree in that family. Need a new mayor with no ties to the Stranczeks. Then, the police dept. can get a chief with experience and get rid of the dead weight. There is no reason that Crestwood should be a part-time dept. Hire offices and giv ethe training that they need. Don't nickle and dime their training like they have in the past.

Try not to be so sensitive. She knows the town,(get a map if you dont)she also knows important stuff like who does not pay their water bill and the mayors cell phone number and other important stuff... We understand why you would be so protective of her.

Why don't you apply for the job. In your mind you have all the answers,remember though, you would have to come out from behind the computer screen use your real name and be held accountable. I truely believe that Theresa can do a better job as chief than Slowkowski. She doesn't put up with a lot of crap and hopefully she will get rid of the dead weight. Theresa, get that cheap mayor to cough up a few more dollars for the officers. If he doesn't, punch him in his good eye.
