If this building had been properly boarded up and secured by the city and the property owners, we wouldn't have deal with messes like this. I can't imagine that anyone else would want this going on in their neighborhoods.
Why are candidates and their families running for as many as 4 (four) multiple offices? How can this type of collective influence ensure the best interest of any community or office is served?

Vargas, Heuser, Potaska, and Bilotto, were elected to serve the 7th ward, School District 218, 3rd ward, 2nd ward, and treasurer's office and because of their collective years of harmful actions and failure the public was NOT served. Who were they serving instead of the people?

If you have not already done so, you need to go and Vote.
Election Day is Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

Some of you people are crazy...do you really think that newly elected officals is what this town needs...how about let's try the INS first, then get rid of all the poor housing...then get rid of a police department that spends more time in and out of the bars talking to the bartenders than patrolling the streets...then let's talk about politics on a larger scale...the violence in cities will not stop until the economy gets better. When all these things happen maybe just maybe the dead bodies will stop. Funny how this happens a lot in this town if it's not the pool it's an abandoned building. I just hope that they cannot tie any local officials to the abandoned building....cause that would be really fishy.

The police do spend the majority of their time in the bars with their cars running at the curb right outside the door. Last I knew, they were not allotted 3 hours nightly to have dinner.

What about Nancy Thompson When is she going to do something other than vote "NO"? Nancy you are not exempt from your lack of doing. Please give up your position if you are not going to attend meetings and accomplish something other than be an obsticle for progress!
