Just curious to see who is running in the various wards. Can anyone give me a rundown of all the confirmed candidates? I think they are still filing petitions, not really sure though.

So Nancy Thompson has competition in the 7th eh? What did she think, she was going to sail into the office? LOL! The odds of her winning that ward without the Mexican vote is going to be something to see.
Allan Stevo in the 2nd??? How many people has he pissed off in that ward?

WE are voting for Mr. Stevo. He will sure make this election exciting. I don't know any one who should be upset with him. Let's see, he was not responsible for closing down the bridges, he sure will not be a RUBBER STAMP VOTE like Ald, Vierya. I think he will think things through before he votes on them, like a real Independent.

Alderman Vierya sat silently, supporting Mayor Peloquin in his failed attempt to issue 450 Million Dollars in Bonds for his Plasma Arc Incinerator. With her part in this scheme, she has proven that she should not be trusted with our public money. I am voting, and working for the only true Independent Al Stevo. Please join me in helping him get Elected for Second Ward Alderman.

Hey! Ask Stevo if he is paying his Water Bill on time! Oh and ask him if he is going Libel & Slander anyone this time like he did at Eisenhower during the last election! Hell I would have sued his ass to poverty if I was Pam Frasor for what he said last time.

Can you be so kind and tell us about Mr. Stevo based on your personal knowledge working for the City of Blue Island.

I don't know about the Water bill problem but I did sit in the audience at Eisenhower HS at the last town election and watched Stevo accuse Pam Frasor and others with such accusations and venom that people in the audience started yelling back at him and hissing & booing him. The Moderator at the time was telling him that his alloted time was over and he just kept right on going. I thought they were going to shut the microphone off. He was embarrassing and ridiculous.

BIRESIDENT,Are you a voter in the second ward? It is American as Apple Pie to have elections, and important to bring out the issues no matter how sensitive some could be.

Letty, Jan Ostling, Stone and Hall. People in wards where there is an incumbant, please ask yourself AND the candidate what they have done to DESERVE to be re-elected. They have all been quite a while and should have a list of accomplishments.(PS voting aye ALL the time is not an accomplishment.) I personally think its time for a change.

I do agree with you to a point.

I can remember several times that Hall has voted NO...for example- putting home rule on the ballot.

As for the 3 short haired stooges-They bop their head like the good bobble heads they are.

I agree to a point also. Hall has worked at the food truck every month for years. He is accessable to everyone in his ward "what i am told". And he fought to keep open the recreation center, just to name a few. look at the Aldermen as a whole and count the times Letty, Jan Ostling and Stone have vote against the Mayor interest you can cout them on 1 hand total. the bottom line is, If you think your aldermen his the best interest of there ward and the City in mind re-elect them, if not give them the boot.
