Hueser is not a leader. He has droppped the ball on everything he touched since he whined and cried to be the Board President of 218. Starting when he couldn't lead the board to consensus make an appointment to fill an opening on the board 2 years ago and the opening is stil there. He has screwed up the administration with his meddeling and he has pushed to give the store away to the teachers union. He has alienated most of the board and wont go to the washroom without asking board attorney. Guess who that is? He took a job from a former board member and going to loose that too. School district 218 can't get rid of this guy fast enough, but hopefully he doesn't get elected to anything else---EVER.

Denise Horton< THIS ONE IS A NARCISSISTIC BOOB!
Jill Contreras< She went along with the other's. She HAS to go.
Steve Cherversia< He & Ann Rapp are the only ones who fight for the teachers, students, their parents and the taxpayers. The rest of the Board can't stand them and especially the Superintendent.

If you want to be elected in district 130,run on the platform to get rid of the superintendent and you will win. Get rid of the Board President and have enough votes to get rid of the superintendent!!!!!!!!!!

In order to do that, we need people to run. Parents of district 130, throw your hat in ring and run. We need to get control of our school.

A little investigating reveals according to public records, Annual Statement of Affairs for fiscal year ending June 30, 2011 for CHSD 218, Michael D. Graham was paid out $218,260.86 and this was over regular salary!! Now to figure out how to get the District to inform the taxpayers exactly why they would give such a large amount of cash to an employee. This kind of money would go a long way in educating our children or put some money back in the pockets of the tax payers.

Tax payers would be right in questioning 218 officials about a number of issues. Why are district schools under performing? What is planned for the district's huge surplus...will voters have a say? The susperintendent wants his contract extended...should it be or should a search be started for his replacement?
A year ago, Board members made a deal with Maintenance Director Mike Graham, paying him a large cash settlement. Today, he is missing in action. Where is he and what is his status? Is it true that a number of people in supervisory positions were hired with felony convictions on their records?
Several Board members are up for reelection this spring. One or two may be eyeing a run at a new office, say in Blue Island. Now is the time to start asking questions and holding officials accountable.

Amazing!

With your lack of grammar and simple spelling, why would anyone listen to your opinion about educating children?

One question for the district 218 board is why do they give the superintendant a 10,000 dollar yearly bonus when the grades have gone down every year since he has been in charge?I would hate to see what they would give him if they went up?

Do not be to harsh with the spelling. If you are a habitual negative poster on topix they have a way of making the typing difficult to discourage you from posting.
