"I have worked hard to make the Sheriff's Office one of the most respected agenciesin the State of Missouri. We are now one of the best-trained and well equipped Sheriff's Office in the State. To coin the phrase "The future belongs to those who prepare," I believe that I have been preparing for the position of Sheriff for the last 37 years. I have worked in all areas of Law Enforcement, been involved in the investigations of crimes from homicides to major drug cases and attended as many training classes as possible. I hold the integrity of the Office of Sheriff to the highest level I hope that I have earned your trust. It will not be taken lightly."
