There are actually several more types of bariatric surgery. Barix performs the two types that have the least amount of complications. Up until several months ago there was no agreement between Barix and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, or Aetna,or a few others. I went self pay ($26,900) and have not regretted it. It is the best thing you can do for yourself to avoid becoming a vegetable. The surgery has many benefits besides losing weight. Most people are no longer on a long list of medications, and you are more active. The surgery evolves around making good and healthy food choices. If you don't make these changes in your life, the surgery is wasted. The surgery is a tool to set the stage for a healthy tomorrow and ever after.

i have a dream that some day American people will take responsibility for themselves and do the right thing instead of looking for an easy, quick fix.
maybe just making wise food choices the past ten years would have been easier than "The surgery evolves around making good and healthy food choices".
i guess when the surgery doesn't keep you from stuffing your face you can get a lawyer and sue the surgeon because the surgery didn't work.
most fat people just need a easy math course which is:
eating more calories than you burn for energy equals fat.
