She deserves every single second that she sits in prison. That man was not worth it. On top of that she will never recevie any of the insurance money. She gives "Dumb Broad" a whole new meaning.

TO THINK THAT THIS STARTED WITH THE MONEY THAT THEY RECEIVED FROM A LAWSUIT (INVOLVING THEIR DAUGHTER'S DEATH). WITH MONEY IN HAND, THE DECEASED DREAMED OF A NEW FAMILY WITH A YOUNGER WIFE. WITH LOW SELF ESTEEM IN HAND, HIS FIRST WIFE AGREED TO THE PLAN. WHILE I TOTALY UNDERSTAND HER RAGE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER USED TO KICK HIM OUT AND GO HER SEPERATE WAY. NOW SHE WILL BE SPENDING HER DAYS IN A JAIL CELL INSTEAD OF A MANSION AND THE SURVIVING DAUGHTER WILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO HOLD ON TO WHAT EVER IS LEFT OF THIS TRAGEDY.

sentence is a joke! If a man did this to his wife for cheating he'd never be allowed to plead out to 3rd degree murder and get such a light sentence.she could be out in 5 yrs,,judge is an idiot.

She's probably hot and got a lenient sentence for that. Remember Debra LaFave? She got like 5 years probation after having sex with one of her students.

But let's make sure we keep our prisons stuffed with nonviolent pot smokers (830,000 people were arrested for POSSESSION in 2006. Not SALE, not MANUFACTURE...possession. While a convicted child molestor was given probation because the judge said 'he wouldn't survive in prison.'

The reason why she probably didn't leave hime was the fact that they won a huge medical malpractice lawsuit years ago when their daughter died and there was a lot of money involved, that's how they ended up with that huge house in the burbs. She figured she could get away with killing him and still "live the life to which she had become accustomed", but it didn't work out that way.

Ok i'll believe you,'lendawg' if that IS your real name ( ;)), but then why the double standard? Had a guy killed his wife (for any reason, really) he'd be given, what, 20-40 for 1st degree premeditated murder?

I don't know why they offer plea deals to people who are so obviously guilty. Why do they let her off with 8-20 when she should be serving 40 for 1st degree premeditated murder?

The deceased got what he deserved. He should have treated his first wife better. He gets rich off the death of his daughter then want to throw the old wife who stuck with him through thick and thin to the curb in order to get with some young stuff. Young stuff who would not have looked at him when he was broke. The old wife snapped.....she also secured that money for her own kids leaving the young stuff out in the cold. Hell hath no fury.

You are in no position to say someone deserved to be shot in the head twice while sleeping. i bet you call yourself 'intelligent' life too. Greedy cun+ should serve life in prison for premeditated murder.

Obviously you are not familiar with the meaning of the phrase, "An eye for an eye" or possibly you are & your comments posted above are in actuality a Freudian slip (no sarcasm implied = not a joke). An eye for a eye means if a person commits a crime the only way for balance to be restored (in other words for justice to be served) would be to punish the one who committed the crime by sentencing that individual to the same fate as the crime committed. Also the sentence was and continues to be a judicial decision not an individual decision. Apparently you are a gold-digging IDIOT!
