Every air traveler deserves for having paid a "September 11th Security Fee" the sort of prompt, "VIP" service these programs offer for a ridiculously high extra cost.

It is almost too late now to respond to these "if you have nothing to hide" apologists for the government's intrusion into citizens private life. From all indications, the damage is done.

The scary part is people like you cheering it on.

It is not a ridiculously high extra cost. You can join Clear for a $100 annual fee. Most of the time if you fly that much then your company will gladly pick it up as it will add to productivity by adding an hour to your 'not on the clock' workday. If they won't then it is a business expense and will be tax deductible. I would highly recommend Clear because of the lower price, and large network of airports which show a bit more stability as far as the company goes. One more thing which may weigh on your choice of provider is that all Registered Traveler programs are interoperable. If you have a Clear card it will get you all the treatment at the Jacksonville airport which vigilant operates. To check out Clear and sign up just go to www.flyclear.com enjoy and I will see you in the lanes.
