well it shows that no one should be speeding in the rain on roads that you can't even see over the next hill. Its like I said to others, in NASCAR they always stop a race when it begins to rain, well it"s not because they don"t want to use there windshiled wipers. So if the pro's stop because of rain don't you think that it would be a good idea not to street race in the rain. If you are going to race at least try to be smart about it.
My thoughts and Prayers go out to all the families involved

How about NOT street racing to begin with? You place more than just those participating in danger.

Jeremy Bolick and Tommy Wright died at the scene. Mr. Bassett passed away two weeks later, his wife was discharged from the hospital the same day.

Here's the thing. a lot of times firefighters and police are made out to be heroes. A lot of times these people are on drugs, beat their kids/spouses, and constantly break the law. Does that take value away from a life they save? Absolutely not. Does it mean they are/aren't heroes? Maybe that should be for the individual to decide. As the saying goes, you should never meet your heroes. The point is, they're still just people, that's why hero worship is bullshit. If someone does something good for someone else well good, it doesn't matter what their profession is. Just remember that the person you love and support and think is a hero or just a great person is hated by someone.

Please provide facts to support your statement ("A lot of times these people are on drugs, beat their kids/spouses, and constantly break the law"), While I will agree that every profession does have some "bad apples", I think your generalized statement is very ignorant and closed minded. I won't assume, but may I ask, do you have a crimnal recoed by any chance?

I don't have so much as a speeding ticket. I said a lot of times rather than all the time because THAT would have been a generalized statement. I could give examples all night of cops ripping my car all to hell, while telling me that why they pulled me over was none of my damn business. Or about firefighters that destroy public property and almost kill people trying not to get caught. Or how about the cops on drugs, that I've been present when they were buying and it wasn't a sting.

ok...any facts to support " a lot of times"? If you could give examples all night of "cops ripping your car all to hell", that make me wonder. This has never happened to me or anybody I even know. Also, you indicate you've been present where drug were sold. Hum...this is interesting to say the least.
