Murdering someone in the first degree is not a mistake, imbecile. The only thing Jordan deserves is death, but I suppose being anally raped for the rest of his life will have to suffice.

Dollars to doughnuts he was offered second degree as a plea offer and turned it down. He chose to roll the dice, and now he has to live with the consequences.

I believe he was offered a plea bargain right around Thanksgiving and turned it down. Maybe this young man will get an appeal. If I had reason to believe in the power and truth of justice and I had my reasons for not agreeing to a first degree plea, I would go for the promise of a fair trial with the prevalence of truth and facts. Sadly there is no such thing for the average joe who has been living on the wrong side of town all of his/her life. Justice and fairness are unattainable unless one is white, wealthy, and powerful. Unfortunately we can all find ourselves facing a courtroom filled with "peers" who are fed just what the DA and his office chooses to cook up. People enter a courtroom and totally lose all reasoning and the ability to think for themselves. Once in a jury pool I was in a group of people where almost 35% couldn't read and write their own names and addresses. I had to help several of them fill out their information. Sadly, some of these people who failed to reason the importance of learning to write their own name sat on a man's jury and listened to the judge's instructions like they were angels at the left hand of God. I will never forget the defendant's hopeful and trusting face as this was his one chance for a long awaited appeal. The jurors were puppets for the most part. I am white, if anyone wants to argue race, and as far as I can see there is no justice in a court of law; there is simply the accusation and the sentence. Where are all the good heroic attorneys we see on TV? Maybe they don't exist but are simply Disney characters for entertainment and fantasy. No one cares anymore, it's such a bother to care for another human. Sigh! The world makes me sick! The Constitution was not chisled in stone unfortunately.

Spoken like a gentlemen who knows all the facts about the incident. Pray, sir, fill us in. Anal rape? I believe that is a small worry for a young man who has lost his chance to ever redeem himself and turn his life around. Perhaps he had reasons for taking a life, perhaps he was innocent and didn't take a life at all. Your argument.

Stand by your friend, dear. He needs you I am sure. Remember to let everyday he serves time remind you and others that it makes better sense not to become involved in volatile situations, don't let anger be your master. I bet you that he wishes he had just drove away on that cold January night. Maybe he will get a second chance.

I cannot believe what I am reading here! You sit behind your pc and think of all this bs because one Idiot decided to kill another person. He is the one that pulled the trigger, noone else. Don't give me that "wrong side of town" crap either. We ALL are given a chance to better ourselves and it's nonone's fault but his for not taking adavntage of that. I know plenty of people that have. This Moron takes another person's life and it's the "wrong side of town" that he grew up on's fault. Also, did you know that the jurors had to be escorted to their cars by Police Office's? Yeah those same ignorant THUGS that Jordan hung out with were sending death threats to them. Wait..........let me guess it was the "wrong side of town's" fault that those Idoits decided to do that? Come off this BS, I cannot believe that you set there and think of this chit. Whoa......wait a minute.........You're probably Jordan's little ignorant girlfriend. Sorry little girl, your THUG is going to but raped everytime he turns around. To bad they didn't put his sorry ass in the chair, that way I, a hard working parent, wouldn't have to keep his sorry, murdering ass up for the rest of his life. I think it would have served his THUG ass right to a have a bullet put in his head..........but oh well!
he is a stupid thug

Yeah here's an argument for you. For this stupid Thug $600.00 was enough to take someone's life. Shoot that was probably a days worth of selling dope for him. Oh and I guess being that he shot him FOUR times it was a mistake, he didn't mean to do it? That was no mistake, that Thug knew what he was doing, to bad the same thing didn't happen to him. Also, you can ask him about the Anal Rape in your penpal letters or when you go see him ask him if it hurt?

Yea, those white Duke lacrosse players sure were given special treatment because of the color of their skin. Oh wait, they were ACCUSED because of the color of their skin. Let me see, O.J. Simpson was hurt because he was black. No, let me back up, he was ACQUITTED because he was black.
Could it possibly be? Dare I say it? Ok I will. Perhaps if this man did not have the reputation as a thug, perhaps if he had not made threats toward the victim who was also a thug, perhaps if he had not gone to where the victim was at with an assault rifle and argued with the victim, and just perhaps if the victim had not wound up shot with the same type of rifle at about the same time he was there your bash the white man crap might hold a little water. But since all of this was true, it just makes you look like you don't care about the facts and want to promote your hate the white man agenda.

What? Should he have just driven away or didn't he get a fair trial? Putting both your posts together it would seem you know he is guilty but feel he should have been given a break because he was a black man from the wrong side of the tracks; or that somehow mitigates his actions.

There is only a few people that knew what happened that night. The evidence that was presented in court proved that Rashad was the gunman and took the life of my Brother. There was nothing innocent about the way Cedric was gunned down at his home with his children by his side!Rashad had the chance to take a plea and didn't. I don't want anything bad to happen to him in prison and we never wanted a death sentence for him. Cedric can't be returned to his family and as long as Rashad can't come back to his we will all have to live with the choice that he made that night.Money he said was taken from him could have been replaced, his ego for not wanting to use his fist instead of a gun hummm a thought, but having cedric still in this world PRICELESS.For all those involved the night Cedric died your day will come, maybe not in the courtroom. But just remember God is the real Judge, Jury and Execution.Imagine coming home and the sound you hear on your answering machine is of YOUR family member gasping and taking his last breath. That sound will forever be in my head and heart knowing that is the last I would ever hear from my brother. NO matter what he didn't have to die.

You really are an idiot. Oh the justice system is after the boy from the wrong side of town again. It just happens that most of the crimminals are from the wrong side of town thats why its the wrong side of town. Maybe when some punk ass thug like that kills someone you love you'll be screaming for blood. You'll be the first one saying the law let you down because your from the wrong side of town lol. Poor pitifull opressed people just cant get no justice lol. Well justice will be done every night in his jail cell as he screams. I'll sleep a little better at night knowing that. Night night keep your butthole tight.
