Bettsville resident seeks changes to sewer hookup policy; village council disagrees with suggestions

The Mayor, Linda Davis, also has been telling people that mosquito fogging would cost $500 and the village didn't have the money. Now it's down to $110 and it's still not done.

You're kidding me. We suffered all year with the damn mosquitos - we don't have the money? Puleeze! We've personally paid enough in municipal taxes this year so far to cover the initial $500 charge - where is the money indeed.

Yes, virginia fogging was done. And yes the whole village got a one time once over and it was done by the township and yes the village paid for it.

Funny how nobody saw it happen and the mosquitos didn't die. If the money was a problem, why didn't they ask the residents? I would've contributed to get it done.

Maybe someone should lookout the window more often. Not trying to be rude, but seriously Liberty township trustees came in and did a ONE TIME pass through the village but you should remember that we had a lot of stagnat water throughout the area.
