lol such competent oversight no?

those who are not nurses or doctors should never ever have access to narcotics.

real smart...set up a system where dangerous narcotics are easily accessible to nursing assistants who are not required to have any knowledge about medications or it's affects...

then wonder why it's missing, setup video camera to record their own management incompetence....priceless

Nurse stealing narcotics is one thing, because they have legitimate reasons for needing access to it but they are risking their 4+ college education career.

Anyone below the totem pole have far less to lose...

anyone else read the book, forgot the title since i passed it on,about a major drug bust years ago in a hospital where alot of nurses and higherups where busted for stealing drugs(not necessary using them for themselves either)they had secret drawers ect in the counters....this state a a REAL BIG Problem that it has known about for over ten years and goes way beyound just stealing drugs-when morphine based drugs are missing from one dept and patients die of morphine overdoses in another dept same building....actually its what the nondrug user nurses are doing that is more dangerous and the local citizens who participate in help covering it up are doing crime just as bad too

If she was stealing that many pain pills, she was selling them on the black market. Hopefully the authorities can find a way to charge her with much more than just theft from helpless people who are in pain.

As if this industry is not hard enough. Dealing with city/state/federal regulators, managing patients medications, potential lawsuits, and staffing issues.

As this is the age where a persons looks like a mature one but in fact he or she behaves like a child. Steeling drug or anything does give benefits to them and they are not habitual of that but they indulge them just to busy themselves in such activities.
