Ind. judge grants same-sex divorce
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. a?? The mood was festive as Judge Valeri Haughton spent the morning of June 26 presiding over marriage ceremonies for gay couples who rushed to the Monroe County courthouse here after a federal judge struck down Indiana's ban on same-sex marriage.

A judge who understands the specific application of FF&C, as well as his authority and full jurisdiction to assist, if so requested, in the termination and dissolution of any contract whatsoever.

If the judge recognizes the divorce, then the couple were legally married in the first place.
