If you don't like the pay, don't take the job. Let me guess, you would rather be working at a Ford or GM plant making 4 times as much while doing little to no work. Oh wait..... I forgot that Ford and GM are shipping jobs over seas because they are fed up with the union employees.

More cheap jobs. Sad. I heard a rumor the expansion was in doubt after the Dr. Tiwari investigation. Probably just a rumor...

Dale, your comment is beyond stupid. Perhaps they should pay unskilled workers brain surgeon wages? Would that make you happy? The union experiment of paying unskilled workers three or four times their worth failed miserably. Those jobs are gone and the companies that agreed to be strong-armed by unions continue to suffer.

No one is obligated to accept a job with this company, though the jobs will pay above average wages for unskilled labor. Those who are underemployed with no benefits will gladly accept these jobs. Let's review: worker employed 30 hours a week at a convenience store with no benefits and earning $7.00 per hour vs. 40 hours per week, good benefits and earning between $11 and $21 per hour. Which is better, Dale?

One can read a great deal from your six-word post. The reason you are apparently unhappy with your job's pay is because you haven't prepared yourself for a good job, have a crummy attitude and feel your employer (and the rest of the world in general) owes you more than you are willing to give.

Now, standby for Dale's reply. He'll likely tell us that he makes six figures, lives in a huge house and buys a new car every year. His only interest is helping those less fortunate. Let's hear it, Dale.

Never under estimate the ignorance of the great American public. A terrific announcement for the Bloomington area and people complain. Just remarkable.

The article is about new jobs not how animal cells are repoduced. So who cares how it is worded, but at least we know alittle about what is done there.

Please don't judge Bloomington by this idiot "Dale". Everyone I've ever talked to is thrilled we have Bill Cook, he has done huge things for this town and a lot of southern Indiana in general.

Mr. Cook won't have any problems finding workers for his new plant. Some people want to work and provide for themselves. Others just want to complain.

Bloomington is like an island in the state of Indiana. Educated people, progressive mindset, environmentally focused, and open minded....all in one town. I'm talking about not only the university population/staff, but the entire town itself. The city was ranked 5th most educated city per capita in the US.(that's permanent residents with Master's degrees or above).

A truly diverse, cultured, and educated city.

Thank you, again, Mr. Cook for the continued growth of Bloomington's pharama industries!

Now, B-town has Baxter, Cook, Cook Pharmica, BioConvergence, and some smaller start ups which have just received FDA approval for their drugs.

"Bloomington is like and island in the state of Indiana...." - what kind of crap is this? Your hick town is just as sh&%! filled as any other city in Indiana or the US...these community "ratings" are designed to make you feel good about drinking the liberal kool-aid and living life with way too many government regulations. Can't think for yourself? No problem, local government does it for you in Bloomington...that hick town wouldn't be for sh$%! if the State of Indiana hadn't located a land-grant university there. Think of the "progress" the townsfolk could enjoy if the politicos weren't a bunch of tree-hugging liberals who think their role is to nibsh&*^! in the business of others.
