Woman gets 3 years for adoption scam

A judge sentenced a woman to three years in prison for a child adoption scam he called one of the "cruelest crimes" he's seen in 20 years on the bench.

Where are our values in this country? We kill each other, steal, hurt, when will we begin as a nation to expect better of ourselves and family? This lady targeted already hurting people. The words needs to be spread again that babies are off limits. People who struggle having babies are off limits. She may need mental attention, but that was something she should have asked for before she caused emotional and financial damage to her victims. I am so sorry that happened to these families.

Its really sad how low people will go for money.
Its also sad that the people that got scammed
are already having a hard time not being able to have a baby in the first place, and then finaly
getting a chance to have a baby, just to get scammed (how sad).

She'll have plenty of time to plan her next escapade. The need for her immediate gratification certainly trumped any regard for her victims.
