It's very hard to believe the police in a situation like this..given the recent Fox case and others. You also have to take into account this happened in Palatine, which is kind of a low rent-heavy enforcement type of area.

I hope she stays in jail for as long as she possibly can because that was my speech teacher i had in 3rd to 6th grade and i truly loved her she was so sweet. Now its time for her to suffer everything she has done to her. Now she will suffer her karma.

Karma is when you get what's coming to you. Hard to say she will suffer her karma when there is nothing pointing to her in the first place. The evidence says it all and the truth will come out in the end. Go to the trial and see for yourself. Given the area of the situation, no one has the right to judge anyone until this is settled. The police didn't do their job then and they aren't doing it now. I bet the real murderer is still out there. It is a shame when they accuse people without evidence and then get the public to believe it. How is that fair? And to think the Cook County police have a bad reputation. I can't understand why.

I am guessing you were not in the court room the last year. This is just my guess. I guess you did not hear that the only reason after 36 hours of interrogation Diana said she did it because A police commander for the police department went in her room and told her that if she said it was self defense she could have her lawyer that she had asked for 35 hours earlier.
That is why the confession was through out. She has stuck to her story this whole time saying she heard a mans voice.
I hope you all can live with yourself when this is over.
God bless!

I hope and pray this NEVER happens to you. I am sorry but the politics in Chicago are a joke. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Please come and join me in the court room on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. When this is all over I would love to sit down and have a cup of coffee with you.

This is a very common practice in Cook county. Look at all the different cases people that have been released because the cops have got them to make a false confession. or would you like to name them for you? Fox, Brown's Chicken murders. Would you like more?

However do you know for a fact that Diana is guilty? Did you see her do it? What makes you 100% sure she did it? Im curious

Ok lets break it down.. The LAW she will be found guilty on solid evidence, not circumstancial or hearsay.. The law will not convict on that unless you have a jury trial where the people are predjudised by facts that are not solid. I am listning to the prosecutors I am listing to the forensic evidence read how the forensic worded there statements.. Example they stayted dna MIGHT be hers, the key word there is might that is not a solid statement of proof... Read the prosecutors words very carefull.

Think about what your saying.. think about what your saying- would you "break" and confess in hopes that now your innocence will now be understood? Im sure the cops can make it hard on people but to confess to this in the hope of making your situation better-no way I could hold out forever before you could force me to admit to the brutal murder of my best friend at my hands. are freaking kidding me? she gave it up because she did it why do you assume the cops are lying and not the person in the next room who heard nothing while her best friend was stabbed 60+ times then gets up and takes a shower in the middle of the night THEN finds her friend. If she wasnt worried why go in her friends room at all? and if she is worried-why take a shower before checking on your friend? you all are hoping she doesn't get convicted of something she ALREADY DID

Ok she did not go into Cindy's room because she was worried. She went in there because she was leaving and was telling Cindy that she was doing so. This was a common thing for her to do. Diana had a closing the day of the murder and it takes almost 3 hours to go from Cindy's house to Diana's house. She needed to get home and prepare for the closing which takes hours to do. I don't think you could say you would not confess to something you did not so unless you were in that position. MANY people each year confess to crimes they do not commit. That is a fact. justice is coming wrote: <quoted text> think about what your saying- would you "break" and confess in hopes that now your innocence will now be understood? FINALLY wrote: <quoted text> You are not alone in your request! And, we got the outcome that was RIGHT! I feel that is natural to go into your friends room to tell them good-bye.I have got up at 3 in the morning knock on my friends door to tell the bye.One reason because if anything happen to me they know what time I left. Then so they won't get up looking for me when I am already gone. If you were driving a long distance and had things to do I would have got up. Shower and put on my cloths. Them I would have went in my friend's room to tell them bye. Lots of people do those same step. When staying at someone else's house.
