Bloomington skate park to expand

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a 3,600-square- foot skate park expansion at Kessler Park that will include a 6-foot-high half-pipe, new bank ramps, grind rails, new quarter-pipes and multiple stair features.

Spend $20,000 on the library, so these kids will actually learn something useful! 99.9% of the residents will never use this, so why waste the money?

what percentage of the bloomington city population uses said Library? Do U think a park will impact the local graduation rate or testing matrix? I bet more citizens will use the recreational facilities than said book cave. THIS is "Bloomington" not AN AREA OF AFFLUENCE.

I also bet the cops are sick of chasing sk8ers out of schools or off private property where this kids currently skate.

This video shows why we need skate parks. Kids are kids...there should be places for them to have fun. Skate parks are relatively inexpensive compared to other parks or pools.

On the other hand, cops are...(I'll let you fill in the rest)
