I think his mother should be in jail. Motherly love is one thing, but John Parsons is a worthless lifetime criminal and a coldblooded killer.

How could anyone put a name to John, such as worthless, and criminal and killer, who are you to judge people, isn't it a sin to judge someone, in my opinion all of those whom has condemned john shall also be judged before God. people saying things bad have sinned and fallen short of God. Doesn't anyone read the Bible anymore and I believe we are innoccent until proven guilty.
everyone on earth are sinners in someway, no one is perfect, if we were God would not of sent his son to save us. watch what you say for God is listening.

Why don't you judge yourself before judging others. Are you the judge or jury no. He hasn't been found guilty of anything. Do you even believe in god? Do you know anything about this man except for what they've made him out to be? Did you ever stop to think that may be he exscaped because he felt that was the only way he could spare his life because they are going to find him guilty regardless to whether he is or not so they can close the case. The scetch that was put in the paper in the beginning does not match this man. At first they thought it was a light skinned black man now he's white. Where is the bolistics? Any other case they tell what kind of gun, bullet, ect. Why not this one? Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; "and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote this is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam this is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to they brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hyporcrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Matt, I agree with you. The law is the law and he has broken it many times in the past. If not guilty, why did he run? Paulette, I don't believe you know what this man has put our community through. How would you like him to be hiding in your back yard right now? You'd think differently if you were here. True, everyone sins, but most people don't use guns to commit them, sending fear and terror, taking someone's life in the process....

Do you even know what your talking about? Do you know John or do just know what they've made him out to be? Read St. Matthews 6:25 Chapter 7 1-6. Then ask yourself how you could judge a man you don't know. You will be judged for judging him. All you know is what the Chillicothe P.D. has said about this man.

Seems to me that you're judging me. Do you know what YOU'RE talking about? He has been
"accused" of murder, not tried yet, but you can't tell me that it's not scary that he's on the loose or would that be passing judgment as well? Do you know him? You're taking quite a defensive stance to not have an opinion, which is a judgment.

How nice it was for the police to arrest John's mom on Friday. 2 or 3 days after they searched her home.
Perfect timing maybe, so she would have to spend the whole weekend in jail, before a hearing on Monday? Why did they wait so long to arrest her, if that wasn't the case?
I know they love to arrest people on Friday so they have to spend more time in jail.

Yeah i do know what I'm talking about. But it's not my place to judge anyone. So for that matter do you even know what judgement means if so I sure can't tell. I know that for me to judge you or anyone else is wrong for if that was the case I guess our savior died without reason right. So ask me again if I know what I'm talking about cause I don't think that is a ?
Why would it be scary now that he's out on the streets, it's no different than a convicted murderest serving his time and being released. Prison doesn't rehabilitate a person if anything they learn more or decide to change on their own.

My prayer is for all family members involved...including John Parsons.

I'd like to know the evidence they have against him. Do they have "real" evidence or is it simply the fact that he had been charged with armed robbery before and / or they need to charge someone so they picked him based on his criminal history?

According to the information I have read, the witnes said he was a dark skinned man...not black...but just darker skinned. John Parsons appears to be fair skinned....based on the pictures I have seen.

I understand why he is running. I'd probably run too. Most of the reports I have read, refer to him as an escaped "cop killer". He will NEVER get a fair trial....NEVER. Most...including the media are decaring him guilty before he is even tried for the crime.

It is a no win situation for him.

If he turns himself in, he WILL be found guilty and will spend the rest of his life in prison and /or be put to death for a crime he MIGHT not have committed. If he continues to run, he will be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life and missing his family and friends who love him.

May justice prevail.

I think that Parsons escaped because he knew that he could not get a fair trial. There is no evidence and the law enforcment people that I know told me that they saw Parsons run down an alley and they heard gun shots, they did not see Parson's shoot Cox. There is no evidence of the crime. Parsons was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is why I left Chillicothe. I hated that cow and football loving ignorant farm town. You cannot get anywhere in that joke town unless you are popular or have money...

Well Paulette- you want to talk about God and being innoccent until proven guilty, well just think about it - John escaped before going to court to be proven innoccent or guilty. And if he is guilty Murder is committing one of the ulitmate sins. If you question whether someone reads the bible or not maybe you need to read it a little more closely.

If he felt he could not get a fair trial then why didnt he take the ten minutes to file for a change of venue. If his mother or any of the family want to show they care for him it isnt by helping him stay on the run putting his life in danger.
If they really want to help him they would have him turn himself in and file for a change of venue hire the best attorney they can buy. Because the longer he is on the run the more dangerous it becomes for him and more likely he will be shot and killed if cornered. If he didnt' kill Cox then what about all the other crimes he has committed. You are right there is no state where you are innocent until proven guilty, but the fact remains that he escaped before being proven innocent or guilty.

The night Cox was shot in that alley, Keener's voice came over the scanner saying", We wont take the heat for this". It's a cover up that needs to be thouroughly investigated by someone other than the local police. The public is slowly becoming aware of whats going on. There has been word that the police department destroyed a few of their weapons and registered new ones. Sounds like the shooting was an accidental shooting dont by the police department. Someone needs to step in and do something before they kill him, or at least stop the "shoot to kill" until he is given a fair trial. An autopsy needs to be preformed, in another county.
