I do not know if it was ever simple...certainly it has caught on in recent years...with huge amounts of money being involved.It will just continue.These celebrations,"all Hallows Eve" or "All saints day" are part of the American way now.Soon we will be confronted by a Mexican event.Called "Dias de Muertos",day of the dead , it may soon be with us.All will add to the culture of America.We can only wonder whats next? Halloween is a fun time eventhough it has a semi-religeous background.We celebrate the birth of Christ at the Mall.

the day of the dead is a catholic event to honor the people who have died its not a holiday but a day to remember those who have died
