Jay, If a person doesn't see the mentality as wrong, but that it is to their entitlement to have, then why would they realize, They do not see what they are doing is WRONG OR IMPROPER.I'll leave you with one more. Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome (Dr. Joy DeGruy) This is a must read for every US Citizen! This book really gives you insight into how slavery still affects even the most succesful African American on an emotional and mental level without them ever realizing it. Some of the things are so subtle and every day, it's scary. This is the book that made me realize what the most basic things are that black people want from white people in this country. And it is not handouts, reparations, or unfair advantages. We are just trying to cope with the insecurities and fears that come from a bondage that horrible. What the book makes you realize is that the fears, insecurities, inner stress, and survival instincts all got passed down. The overall emotional and mental trauma got passed and keeps getting passed because we don't even realize when we do it. That's how deeply imbedded it is.
Study entitlement class and race and you will see.
