Deer and Bear hunting with a rifle

I don't understand the confusion about using a rifle for deer and bear I have been using a [ rifle ] for them for 10 years a muzzle loading rifle . Muzzle loaders are not shot guns they are for the most part rifles ,yes there are some that are smooth bore but not as many as are rifled barrels . So the fear about them is completely unfounded . There is also documented evidence about the rifle bullet breaking up or sticking if there is a miss were a slug from a shot gun is more apt to bounce or ricochet . That would be a good reason for me to switch to a rifle let alone the less chance of a miss do to most rifles being scoped . Mine is .
