Mike Gisi's Bar

Last night I was driving home from Poplar Bluff and someone pulled out in front of me leaving the bar. They were all over the road, apparently drunk. How do our police force let people leave that place drunk and put other people at risk? It makes you wonder what is important in this town.

that person wasn't at the bar, just driving by and they didn't say what time. can't you fools read? you both must be drunk or high!

That place needs to shut down!!!! ZEROS is a good name, cause that's all that goes in there!!!! Every time I pass by there I pray that God shuts the doors!!!!!.....This town needs a good family eating place or something to do besides drink , whore around and stay out all night and nearly kill people after leaving cause they're too drunk to drive.....WHERE are the police?.....asleep somewhere!!!!!

there are at least 100,000 Zero's in the united states. If you think you can close them, good luck. Go to Cape, there are 30 or 40 places that are open till 1:30 each night. Do u wanna go back to the old days? no bars? bootlegging? U want corruption? Grow up. We been there, done that. I'm ok with people having a beer. If u drive sloshed, u will get caught. It's that easy. so Lighten up, dumbasses.

My Mom & Dad were killed 3 years ago by a drunk driver. The man already had 4 DWI's and was still on the road drunk. Even when they get caught as you say, it doesn't take long for them to be back on the road again ready to kill someone else. I'm not against bars, I just think they should be watched more than they are. If your parents were killed by a drunk driver, you might have a different view. The law enforcement in this town look the other way when it comes to Zero's, that is a known fact. They are too busy giving speeding tickets instead of getting the drunks off the road.

Was your mom and dad killed by someone leaving Zero's? If not what do you have against that place in general. Just for the record there have been many people leave that place and get a DWI. So don't any of you hypocrites say that the law enforcement in this town looks the other way. Oh and Bloomfieldian, as for everyone going in there to "whore" around, you better get your story straight first. I've been happily in a relationship for 2 and a half years and I for one only go in there to have a couple of beers get a hamburger and relax a little, I do not go in there to Whore around. Sounds to me like you think you are the only perfect person in this town. Can anyone say HYPOCRITE????

Im truly sorry about your family. However as far as the city police looking the other way i disagree (sort of). First Zeros is not in the city limits. I know the city limits has been extended but all property owners were give the choice to be annexed in. Now as for the person that was still driving after for DWI's. Thats not the bars fault of law enforcements fault.(they caught him 4 times remember). I agree with you that a lot of drunks dont get caught. Its unfair I know. My only advice is to use caution driving near Zeros around bar time. I mean if youre blowing by there at 60mph around 1:30 thats not your smartest driving descision ever.Again, Im sorry for your loss. Just dont blame the wrong people. Also, our current mayor wont get any drunks in trouble in town. Thats most of his votes!
