right and once again thanks and u take care but i'd also like to say this is a great topic to have on here so ppl can see from the inmates that has been to these places and come on here and post what it is really like inside the walls of missouri's jails and dept of corrections instead of allways listen to the ppl that work there put the inmates down and talk about easy and good they got it like i said it aint as bad as u thank but it is still prison

Well, new buildings and such are OK. But they have to be paid for. And as an outsider who is just visiting in Stoddard County, I can say that I wonder how high your taxes are going to go. Jails are like any other gov't office, the people who run the office think that if they have an office space, then somebody must fill it. First thing you know, they have doubled their staff after they get a new building. The point I am making is that if we add onto the jail, then we would have more overhead, then more stupid cops writting bad tickets and ruining peoples lives. It's a big snow ball. If you don't believe me, just wait til that new bldg. in Blmfld is complete. I would bet there will be some new employees for something or the other hired to fill an office that presently does not exist. A new jail would most likely follow suit. So there is more than just the expence of building a new jail. Besides, if we got rid of a few rules and got rid of a few of the bad prisoners, my guess is we would not need the jail improvements cause there would not be many inhabitants.

thats just not gonna happen tho fool many reason cop's aint gonna stop writeing dumbass tickets the jailers aint gonna do nothing but sit on there ass and the inmates are gonna do what they do cause not all but im sure there some in there that prolly whatever they did shouldnt of went to jail so these ppl get pissed off that they dont have good food and a desent place to live so they do the dumb stuff they do like i said before yes i know a jail aint post to be a 5 start resort but at the same time no one deserves to live in that shit ether

Here's a thought, if conditions are so bad at the jail then give the inmates a pail of water and a mop. That'll give them something to do to pass the time.

My thoughts and opinions have NOT changed on this subject, as they weren't written in reference to Mr. Evans, but were written in response to posts being made by ALL on this forum. IF he has been arrested that's too bad for both himself and his family, however, it in no way negates anything he posted.

If my kid or grandma breaks the law then yes, they diserve those accomodations. Maybe we should take up what other countries use for punishment, if you steal then you get your hand chopped off. Then people would be begging to go to the Stoddard County jail. People in this country are spoiled.

i commit my crime cuz i got cought up in some stuff not hard to do but hwey my fault and no one eles i knew the chance i was takeing wen i did and i did my time and not one time blamed it on someone eles but i dont have a long record mostly mistermeaners and ive been staying outta trouble cuz i dont do nothing ANYmore it was a one time thang see im man enough to say its my fault i got locked up should the dude i hit ran to the cops na he shouldnt wouldnt of got hiss ass kicked if he wouldnt been running out of his mouth but at the same time if i wouldnt of hit him i wouldnt of got in trouble but to me it aint to keep prison gaurds employ'd its just a chance u take and even tho it sucked in there if i had to do it again i would cuz unlike u and most ppl face to face i aint gonna let no one dissrespect me
