i think this is wrong. animals deserve to be loved and taken care of. and when they do pass which is part of life the animals should be buried in proper area. this man should not be aloowed to ever have animals ever agian. i love my animals i have 2 boxers 6 cats shereard dog old plice dog ad i love all of my animals . ever the ones get dropped off at my house. at one time i had over 17 cats and either gave them away or lost them due being hit by cars or sick and had to put them down , it not the animals fault they derserved to be loved as everyone else . have animals dogs or cats to help control unwanted animals have your spaded or neutral .

I saw the pictures of these animals and it was terrible. The man clearly let them die of neglect.
Animal welfare people do care about the animals in Greene County and this man/family should face justice.

I hate cats, rosellia I bet you and everything you own smells like you have 6 cats **** on ya.
I don't like cats either, but I think that it is great that this lady at least tries to take care of the pets that the 'losers' drop at her door. YOu don't have to smell her so don't worry about it. Some 'horders' do actually provide great care and love for their animals -- more than I can say for some people that only have 1 PET - you know the poor dog tied in the back yard that is lucky to receive a pat on the head...

Would it be considered animal neglect to allow 'your' cats be hit by cars? You didn't drive the car or throw the cat in the street, but you did allow it roam freely. I think a responsible pet owner not only loves, nurtures, feeds, waters and puts down sick pets but also ensures that pet's safety from cars, being poisoned or shot for pooping in a neighbor's yard, etc. I've seen plenty of 'pet lovers' who couldn't mow their yard or bathe or take care of their kids - I hope you are not one of them.

As long as you can afford to take care of them it doesnt matter how many animals you have. Just because you have cats doesn't mean your house smells. Cats will only usually go outside the liter box if it is not kept clean and the lirter box will only smell if it is not changed properly. It is not only pets that will make your house smell. I have had a house cleaning business and you wouldnt beleive some of the things I have seen and smelled with no pets in the house. I alwasy found it amazing that those who lived in section 8 housing can afford what we termed a specialone time cleaning at 50.00 per hour right before their inspection.

AMEN! I have people come in my house and say all the time,"But you have cats! Your house is clean!" I see all kinds of dirty PEOPLE, but animals can only keep as clean as the people do.

I believe that a 4,000. dollar bond is set to low for a man who can not properly take care of his animals. If this was somewhere else where the ASPCA was involved there would be more done. Why can't we have something like that for the animals that need us to care and help them when they can't speak for themselves?

Indiana needs stronger laws to protect animals.
Please write to the Senator and State Representative in your district and tell him/her about this! They need to hear from people because the animals have no voice to help themselves.

Before you judge this situation you should know the truth in which was not reported here. The mans cow dies while giving birth, the vet was called but there was nothing he could do,the horse that died was very old and someone just dropped it off at his place,he tryed calling Griffins to have the animals removed but they couldnt get to them right away due to the fact it was when we had the worst snow of the year, the man had a son in the hospital and someone was to be feeding the animals and they didnt, and the guy was with his son at the hospital, sure the animals was his responseability but he didnt just say heck with he tryed with what resources he had,WTHI is not printing the entire facts here and that is wroung.
