When you think the Police are there to help you and some one you can trust, they will just lie and put you into the Jail for nothing and get away with it. I am still in pain and my fingers are still numb from the police officer putting his big feet on my hands as I lay on the floor in handcuffs, he was stomping on my hands and back and the side of my face for nothing and put my into jail. When I saw him today at the court house, he just gave me a strange smile and gave a laugh, that is a poor way for the police to treat some one and still laugh about it, while the officer that kicked in doors at my home and used a taser gun was there also with his mean looks.

If any one would like their names, I have them so you can be watching if they stop you and you get assulted or beat up like I was.

Thanks for writing, what was wrote did not happen that way, I will share your findings with the Fieger Law office that Dr. Htwe and I have as our Attorneys and take the findings with me to court when we go. Thanks again for writing back even if
The Officers did not tell you the truth how we were treated, my hand are still in pain and no feeling in my fingers at times
Because of the Police Abuse, all I had to do was use the rest room, I told the officer I would be back, I did not think that was too much to ask and if I was speeding, he could of come to my car when I stopped on Woodward, no one came toward me until I go to the residence at Cranbrook Manor and had a Gun pointed at me. If this done to me, I am sure it has happen to others, so I hope when it is on TV other will be aware of the Abuse of the Bloomfield Hills Police. It is a poor way to treat some one that was in pain and sick, most people think of the police as some one to help you and not beat you in the back and head.

On Saturday, January 31, 2006 I was followed by a police officer to the residents of a Winston Myint Htwe, M.D. at 1057 Stratford Lane , Cranbrook Manor in Bloomfield Hills. When I got out of my Explorer, he was there with a Taser Gun telling me to stop, I told him what ever I did I will be right back I had to use the rest room, I have a urology problem. The officer used a Taser gun at the door and missed me and then kicked in many door at the Doctors residents and even hand cuff the Doctor and myself and told me I was going to jail and was under arrest and I did not even know what I had done. My car was taken away and a trash bag was empty in the seat of my car and every thing was a mess. He took money, check book, work ID, and many other items and went into my personal items and even put his hands in my pockets and took my medication, money and other items. I still did not know what I had done. This was worse than I am writing, I do not use the words that the officers used toward me. One officer knocked me down and put his foot on the side of my head and stomped the side of my head and then he jumped on my back and kicked and stomped on my back with knee and foot. I was asking what did I do to be treated this way, what have I done. NO one would say. I was pulled up by the handcuffs, they hurt my hands, back and neck. My pants fell down when the jerked me and they took me out to the police car with my pants down in the winter weather. NO one should be treated this way, I was not even told what I did wrong. I had done nothing wrong and then put into the Jail for 3 days.

It is too bad, I am not a football player from Dallas, it looks like he did not have to go to jail for 3 day and have his home broke into like I did and get beat up by the police in Dallas like I did by the Police in Bloomfield Hills, MI

Well, now after the 5th time I have gone to court, nothing has been done. The police is sharing with others that they still feel that I am
a Felon. This is from not wanting to get shot with their gun in the Bloomfield Hills Drive way and I needed to use the rest room because of a Urology problem, not knowing if it was Kidney stones again.

Well, now, I was told Yesterday that I have to go to Court for a trial. At 52 years of age, I find this so hard to believe that a Police Department can do this to some one and get away with it. At least going to court, I will get to share in court what happen and how I was beat up and treated like a real criminal for nothing. James Staley

No, he did not get in trouble, nothing has happen, only, I go to court again in August with a Jury trial. I am called a felon and the Police will not drop the charges. It is interesting how they can do this and get away with it. Every one that drives on Woodward in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan needs to be careful, if they can do this to me at age 52 they will do it to any one.

Something similar happened to my son in Grand Forks, ND. It happens more often than we might think, all over. Sometimes even worse. The amount of force used is something like overkill.
Some big power trip on that officer's part.

By the way, did you go to West Bloomfield High back in the 60's? I'm a 1969 graduate, and I'm from Keego Harbor, originally.

In court, I was told I looked suspicious because I had a leather coat on, this is what the Bloomfield Hills Police said. I was not speeding and my driving was fine, I just looked suspicious, so he followed me into the home by kicking in doors and using a taser gun, I am not the Moron, I was not even told what I did wrong until many months later in court, the police report said I was speeding and later in court, the officer said under oath that I just looked suspicious.
The is what the chief of police had to say:

Subject: Rude police in Bloomfield Hills

I told him what ever I did I will be right back I had to use the rest room, I have a urology problem.
While you feel this is a reasonable response to an order to stop, by your continuing on into the home you were continuing the felony
The officer used a Taser gun at the door and missed me
A check of the recording chip in all of the Tasers on the scene that day found no one had fired a Taser
and then kicked in many door at the Doctors residents
Because you had committed a felony, failed to stop for a lawful order and fled into the Doctor’s home the Officer was entitled by law to continue to pursue you
and even hand cuff the Doctor
This was temporary to sort out what exactly was going on, he was uncuffed as soon as a determination was made about his standing in the matter
and myself and told me I was going to jail and was under arrest and I did not even know what I had done.
During the process of being handcuffed, while you were resisting arrest by tucking your hands under your body, you were advised you were under arrest for fleeing and eluding
My car was taken away and a trash bag was empty in the seat of my car and every thing was a mess.
Your car was impounded incident to arrest and the interior and contents searched
He took money, check book, work ID, and many other items and went into my personal items and even put his hands in my pockets and took my medication, money and other items.
This is standard booking procedure
I still did not know what I had done.
You were advised previously.
This was worse than I am writing, I do not use the words that the officers used toward me.
This wasn’t a casual conversation, you were being ordered to comply and resisting arrest, Officers were using loud verbal harsh language commands to gain your compliance
One officer knocked me down and put his foot on the side of my head and stomped the side of my head and then he jumped on my back and kicked and stomped on my back with knee and foot.
You were already face down on the floor in a confined area and when you tucked your hands and arms under you, force was used to pull you hands out to be handcuffed.
I was asking what did I do to be treated this way, what have I done. NO one would say.
Not unusual after just having struggled with someone
I was pulled up by the handcuffs, they hurt my hands, back and neck.
They also had hold of you by your shoulders when you were stood up
My pants fell down when the jerked me and they took me out to the police car with my pants down in the winter weather.
Your pants fell down while going to the car, the officers pulled them up as an in car video shows your pants were up when loaded into the car
NO one should be treated this way, I was not even told what I did wrong. I had done nothing wrong
You did do something wrong, you committed a felony by fleeing from the Officer
and then put into the Jail for 3 days.
You were taken in to custody around 4:30 PM Saturday, lodged in Oakland County Jail around 9 PM Saturday, in jail all day Sunday and arraigned at the 48th District Court Monday morning

The statement from the Chief of Police was wrong and would not even talk to me:
he wrote it is not unusual after having struggled with somone:
I was handcuffed, then had my head, back and neck kicked and he called that a struggle and he was not even there.
I did not even know what I had done until I was in court recently.
so, Mr. Police Chief, the police was a lie and every thing you wrote to me was wrong: the officer said I did not speed, and the driving was fine, I just looked suspicious because of wearing a leather coat.
I sure hope people read this and they are aware of YOU and the Police of Bloomfield Hills. The treatment that I was given and the damage to the Doctors home was not right.

First, it doesn't make any sense for the police to go after you because you looked suspicious unless recently, a crime had been committed by somebody driving your type of car or similar to the way you look.

Second, if a police officer is ordering for you to stop, you do not say to them, brb, I have to go to the bathroom, for all they know, you are trying to get rid of a weapon or drugs. I also have a urology problem and a few more minutes was not going to make a big difference.

Third, if a neighbor told you that the police did not even have a siren on as you mentioned, why didn't you bring this witness to court during your trial.

You know, I feel sorry for you, but alot of what your saying does not make sense. Police officers generally use foul language to get somebodies attention. I am not in law enforcement or an attorney, but Mr. Staley, it's no wonder you were found guilty. You would have had right on your side if you have just made the correct judgement call and stopped when ordered by the officers, by you insisting you had to go to the bathroom, you pretty much brought this all on yourself.

I hope you only get probation, more than likely, you may get 30 to 90 days in jail and then probation...but please, from now on, regardless of whether you feel your right, STOP when told too...then, you have a case for a civil lawsuit againt the police department and the officers.

It looks like the Police got what they wanted, I was found guilty, for doing nothing wrong. I did not have to go back to jail. I got fines and probation.
It was strange if I was so wrong, why did the police tell me the morning of the sentence that if I did not sign a paper saying that I would not sue the Police in Bloomfield Hills, they would push for Jail or prison time. I did sign the paper, I did not want to go to jail and loose my home, job, car and everything for some thing I did not do. Later, I was told the judge had his decision made and I did not have sign any thing.
This past week, I had Plastic Surgery for the injury's to my head where one of the Bloomfield Hills Police officers kicked me so bad, I had 4 large growth's that had to be removed.
It looks like I can not sue, but with the security cameras's that the Doctor has in his home, it is proof what was done to me and how the Home was shot up with the taser gun and the officer said he did not use the taser gun, the Chief of Police said it was also not used, well, we have proof that it was used and soon the Police and Jessica
Cooper will get to see it on national TV.

if they can do this to me, they are doing this to others, so people keep you security camera's in places that the people do not see them, because you might need proof also when the police lie about you.
