These idiots cant go to school in their own districts, so the get bussed to better schools, and completely destroy the school they go to, they are animals, and destroy everything they come into contact with. Another kid that born into this country that has no emotion or feelings for others. I bet when he was born mama put him in the basinet at her parents home and never picked up or held the baby. She probably produced more from diffrent men. Thats the problem with an "open" school policy. I graduated from Clawson almost 20 years ago, we never had any crap like that going on when I was there. What ever happened to corporal punishment? I work in many school districts. Whites don't anything to brag about. Wake up and smell the coffee. White kids have done the same thing.

I teach in several school districts. Some blacks are smart and some I don't know where the h--- they came from. But on the other hand, I can' honestly say the same about some white kids. You are all a bunch of ignorant fools. I graduated from Clawson within the last few years, and these issues are not due to children from Pontiac attending Clawson High. If anything, Substitute Teacher has the best perception on this situation. There were many more incidents from in-town students than from any of the 'School of Choice' program. Every time the cops did a drug dog sweep of the school (which was about every 3 weeks), something was confiscated. I wouldn't be surprised if the student who burned the teacher is a sibling to one of the same group who was busted with every sweep.
I am white and I am glad to be far from all the ignorant Clawson residents. I didn't go to a college 3 hours away from home to get away from my parents. I did it to get away from Clawson's idiots. Unfortunately, I found a new supply of morons where I went.

it is what happens when Superindents, assistant super intendents and all these people in remote offices do not care about what teachers are going through. The only thing they are looking for is big numbers about enrolled students so they can make big money.
All these schools should be closed and reopen only when the bad guys have been identified and thrown out. Students will think twice when 100 students are kicked out of school for good at once.

Glad to hear things were better 20 years ago. I graduated from Groves HS 45 years ago. It was all white then. I had a homeroom and English teacher named Sloan who was a perv and not at all sneaky about it. He tried to get all the girls to his house all the time.
There were bullys who went unchecked. One time, walking down the hall in a crowd, one of the bullys lifted another guy's wallet and handed it to me. What would you do, run ahead to the owner and say ,'here's your wallet, someone just handed it to me?'

I was passing the office so I went in there and gave it to the clerk for lost and found. I never opened it. Before I got to class, the Assistant Principal, named Newcomb, grabbed me from behind, lifted me off the ground and pounded my head into the wall until my tooth went through my lip. Then he told me to RUN to his office. I didn't run fast enough so he slugged me in the back so hard I couldn't breathe. When I got to his office, he threw my books all around his office, which was decorated with signs that sais things like, "Don't hurt anyone, Keep Calm, Control your temper."

Today Sloan would be doing hard time and I would be rich on the law suit (which was never contemplated by my father at the time, also a teacher) against Newcomb and the school he worked for, which today would be worth a million $.

So what's the point? School sucks, I'd say. I always like learning things and schools always held me back. Teach kids to read and right and if they want more, let them pay for it. Free education should end after grade school.

Hmmm...wonder why they did not mention the kid who dropped his pants and put his a** in another kids face in class, when the teacher was present...nor no mention of the ipod that was stolen during summer school and all the white kids and athletes were excused, but the black kids had to remain. Never is there a cop around at the end of the school day when the kids are leaving in their cars driving like maniacs, squealing their tires, hanging out of their widows yelling obscenities back and forth, or the ones that cross over main street and ignore the crosswalk lights. Come on...the cop shop is right there. The school faculty needs to treat everyone equal. There needs to be consequences for actions. The parents need to be involved. But this is everywhere, not just in Clawson.
