Real unemployment tops 22% Obama figures deliberately understate economic downturn http://www.wnd.com/index.php... Yes they just extended "unemployment" bennies again. But what most didn't see is that they stalled on voting for this on purpose until unemployment bennies ran out for thousands. Which of course, they are now not entitled to the extension. They purposely let them drop off the rolls first so they would not be counted, so the unemployed stat "numbers" would be smaller and not show actual growth. It would also "appear" unemployment numbers are steady or dropping.

Just in case you're tempted to slip back into a 9/10 mindset like many already have on the left, you should probably be reminded that we ARE still at war with radical Muslim jihadists. This guy was a radical, a Muslim and a self-proclaimed jihadist. Your reluctance to recognize a terrorist until "stuff surfaces" (no thanks to the politically correct lame stream media) is unnerving to me. If you can't even recognize the enemy, you better be prepared to run for cover. Because they sure recognize weakness and this country's preoccupation with petty political correctness. It will be our undoing if we insist on lying to ourselves while looking like spineless wusses in their eyes. This may have been one guy who acted alone in the name of jihad, but the rest of them are watching our reaction. You can be sure of that. Oh and they loved it, as much as they love Osoma. They even went on telebision (PC Freedom of speech and all) in interviews and said so.

NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT. THIS IS HOW YOU HANDLE A MUSLIM TERRORIST. THEY ARE FINALLY GETTING IT! Humanly at that even.

The 1st amendment does not protect criminal activity or the efforts of pedophiles to rape young boys. Check out the whole story and you will be sickened. I'm quite familiar with the case and evidently you're not. They were being sued by the family of a pedophile rapist/murderer. NAMBLA was not implicated in the criminal trial. The family tried to sue NAMBLA because the rapist had gone to their website. Its like when Marilyn Manson or similar gets sued by the parents of a teen who commits suicide or similar. I've never checked out the site but I understand its all perfectly legal. Now where are the MANY MANY cases that the ACLU have defended these sick perverts???

Melman68 wrote: <quoted text> The ACLU is just like ACORN. They use their local offices to protect and defend scumbags in the name of Civil Liberties and keep scum on the street. If they do something wrong then , it is not the parent organizations fault, it is that out of control local office. I lived in Seattle in 93-96. A victims' rights group were placing the photos, addresses and sex crimes of soon to be released shitbags. They raped children, women going about thier daily business and even young men. The ACLU got involved and made the group stop because they were "violating" the shitbags right to privacy. Talk about champions of justice! Don't even try to deny or spin this. The ACLU has lost it's moral compass. Cite the case.

Patrick n Angela wrote: Impressive moment FORT HOOD, Texas — It felt like a memorial service for soldiers killed in battle. Framed portraits of the dead with 13 pairs of combat boots, each with an inverted rifle topped with a helmet lined up in a row on a sunny day. But it wasn't a battlefield. It was Fort Hood, Texas, home to about 70,000 people, where suspect Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan fired off more than 100 rounds killing 13 and wounding 29. President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama arrived to the service on Tuesday to bagpipes and the national anthem after they met with families of those who were killed and wounded. The president stood before the crowd of soldiers, victims' families and dignitaries and paid tribute to those who died. "This is a time of war and these Americans did not die on a foreign field of battle," Obama said. "They were killed here on American soil ... It's the fact that makes the tragedy ever more painful, even more incomprehensible." The mood was somber before Obama arrived as music played from the First Cavalry Division band. Thousands of people arrived at the service, which looked like a sea of military fatigues, men and women of all ages and color, many wearing white ribbons to honor those who died. Couldn't have happened. The right wing fringe insists he was dancing in the street high-fiving all his Muslim buddies. Must have just been for show.

Nobama wrote: How does this sound for an energy policy? "While energy is needed to fuel a modern society, government should not be subsidizing any particular form of energy. We oppose all government control of energy pricing, allocation, and production." Something wrong with the LP platform? Perhaps you'd prefer a government monopoly on energy to go with your government monopoly on health care?

Dozens of examples of pedophiles never being charged for their crime here as well, the pastor of one the areas largest churches hooked up with a couple of his flock members on one of those famous overnight affairs that mega churches can't do without. The young ladies were only slightly underage and were willing participants in the threesome. No charges were filed and the Pastor left the area quietly get this, after a couple going away parties hosted by few of his more devoted followers. Problem is that a huge disparity exists in how law enforcement deals with those who prey on children. That can be fixed. What's a moral compass got to do with civil rights? Who's moral compass should be used? Yours, mine? This is a nation of laws, not morals.

grand obsolete party wrote: <quoted text> So, under your rational approach I guess the folks with specific disabilities (read pre existing conditions) and deseases will just be sh*t outta luck, huh? So, your insurance is good until you get a desease, then you're no longer covered. Yeah, that's a rational plan if you're the CEO of an insurance company. I cannot not claim ownership for the healthcare position that is repeated below, which was hardly written by an insurance company, but it is clearly preferable to ObamaKare. Folks like you are just too myopic and dependent on your government daddy to see the light. "We should repeal all government policies that increase health costs and decrease the availability of medical services. For example, every state has laws that mandate coverage of specific disabilities and diseases. These laws reduce consumer choice and increase the cost of health insurance. By making insurance more expensive, mandated benefits increase the number of uninsured American workers."

That's pretty far off the charts as well.
