well, all i have to say is those crazy damn names some of those young black women name their babies these days are just plain damn unpronounceable . they might as well just give those babies an unpronounceable damn symbol for a damn name at birth , like prince did himself a while back . i think some of those young black mothers just sit around making up damn names . they must do that . there is no other explanation for some of the damn names they come up with . i mean , look , if a person pronounces the name like it's spelled , and that's not the way the mother intended for it to be pronounced , despite the fact that it's spelled that damn way , the mother gets all damn buggy and indignant because the damn name wasn't said right . i remember how damn exciting it used to be to find my name on a fake license plate or a shirt pin on a carousel in a store . those poor black kids with funny made up names will never be able to experience that damn thrill , now will they ? used to be said that those funny sounding names were african , but i doubt if most of those young mothers making up those funny sounding damn names can even identify africa on a map of the damn world ! now , i know i'm going to offend that educated young woman with this statement, but naming babies funny sounding damn names seems like it's become part of the negro experience in the past two or three generations , and i think it's damn ridiculous , dammit, and that's all i have to say .
